EPL Betting Tips Matchday 37
Bournemouth vs Southampton
Sunday 11pm AEST
Bournemouth were brave against Manchester City last time out but to no avail. They lost 2-1 against last year’s champions and are now staring down the barrel of Premier League relegation. With just two games to play, Bournemouth sit three points behind Watford in 17th spot.
Southampton had to settle for a share of the points in their most recent clash against Brighton. They amassed 21 shots at goal over the course of the game and had 68% of possession. It’s been a very solid campaign for the Saints who come into this in 10th spot.
Southampton are nowhere near the relegation, nor are they a sniff to qualify for Europa League, so they may struggle for motivation in their remaining games. On the flip side, the Cherries simply must secure all three points from this fixture to give themselves a chance at survival. With the stakes so high, we’ll be backing in Bournemouth here.
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Newcastle United
Tuesday 3am AEST
Brighton finished level at 1-1 against Southampton in their most recent outing, which was a solid response to the 5-0 drubbing they were dealt against Manchester City in the match prior. Brighton are now just one point away from ensuring safety in the EPL.
Newcastle United went on a great run when play resumed to secure their safety in the league with plenty of games to spare. They have struggled for motivation in recent outings however, which has led to three losses on the spin.
Brighton still require a result from this match, so you can guarantee they will turn up focused. The same can’t be said about their opponents in Newcastle, so we love a play on the Gulls here. Anything close to $2 for a win on their home deck appeals.
Brighton & Hove Albion
$1.92
Manchester United vs West Ham United
Thursday 3am AEST
Manchester United have been on an absolute tear for quite some time now. They’re nearing on 20 games in a row unbeaten in all competitions. Their turn in form almost directly correlates with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, who has been simply superb for the Red Devils.
West Ham United are another team that requires just one more positive result to absolutely ensure their safety in England’s top flight. They were important winners in their clash against another struggling side in Watford last time out, which moved them to six points clear of the drop zone.
It would take something remarkable for the Hammers to get relegated from their current position, so the players will be in a pretty comfortable headspace. Meanwhile, Manchester United are oh so close of cracking the top four, which was mean Champions League football next season. All things considered, this should be a very open and free flowing contest that includes a ton of goals.
