Best Bet: Race 1 Ubin Thunderstruck

Two runs back from a spell have been encouraging without much luck. Steps up to the 1600m now which looks to be what he needs. Third up, drawn well and hard to beat.

Best Value: Race 7 Cannon Man

$26 looks a big price. His third up record isn't terrible with a win and a placing from three starts, and his first two runs this prep have been without a great deal of luck. Draws well, in light at the weights and has won twice on Soft ground.

Best Bet: Race 6 Isthmian

Happy to take on Epic Decision here on Soft ground, and Isthmian profiles well. Has won first up before, has won two from four on Soft ground, two from four at the distance, draws well and comes from a strong stable. $2.70 available.

Best Value: Race 7 Herecum da Drums

Short favourite Happy Go Lucky will be hard to beat but Herecum da Drums ran a bottler first up and has placed at his only second up run previously. Has placed three from four at the track and has won on Soft ground. Draws well and $18 is a big price.
