Champions League Matchday 3 Betting Tips
Liverpool vs Rangers Betting Tips
Anfield, Wednesday 6.00am (AEDT)
Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from a loss to Ajax in Matchday 2 as they host Rangers from 6.00am on Wednesday. The Reds have lost a sense of invincibility they have maintained over the last few years in both domestic and Euro competitions, as they currently sit in 9th place on the EPL table with a 2-4-1 record.
Rangers have a 6-1-1 record in the Scottish domestic competition and already find themselves in a familiar position as they fight with Celtic for the title. Travelling to Anfield is another massive step up in competition for the Scottish side though, one that they have been unable to rise to in their first to UCL matches, going down to Ajax and Napoli to currently sit 0-0-2 in the pool.
Unfortunately for Rangers, they were drawn into the pool of death and I can’t see them causing the three juggernauts in this group much trouble, especially on the road. Liverpool are desperate for a win here to stay relevant amongst the top three of this group. I think they win this one but they have been struggling to find the back of the net on a consistent basis of late so I like the combined with Liverpool to score 3 goals or less.

Inter Milan vs Barcelona
Giuseppe Meazza, Wednesday 6.00am (AEDT)
In another group that could be considered the group of death, Barcelona and Inter Milan are fighting it out for the remaining ticket through to the knockout stage as German giant Bayern Munich looks to have the top spot locked up already.
They will square off this week in Italy, and they come into the game in contrasting form. Barcelona look back to their very best in the La Liga after failing to win the title for the last three years in a row. The Catalonians sit atop the table with a dominant 6-1-0 record, having slotted 19 goals and conceded just 1 so far this season.
On the contrary, Inter have a 4-0-4 record in the Italian Serie A and currently sit in 9th place on the table. They have lost their last two games in a row and I can’t see them having a sudden turn of form against one of the hottest teams in the world at the moment. I think Barca get the job done here. Back the Spanish side to win and star striker Robert Lewandowski to find the back of the net.

Manchester City vs FC Copenhagen
Thursday, Thursday 6.00am (AEDT)
Not a lot of street appeal to this matchup given the English side start as $1.06 favourites, however, there should still be plenty of interest as soccer fans around the globe tune in to see if star Man City striker Erling Haaland can continue his blistering run of form.
So far, the German giant has slotted 14 goals in 8 games in the Premier League as well as adding another 3 in just two UCL games so far. He already has three hattricks in Manchester City colours and will be looking to fill his boots against a weaker opponent in Copenhagen on Thursday morning.
Manchester City have been in stellar scoring form throughout the season so far on the back of Haalanad, slotting 35 goals in 10 combined EPL and UCL games. Back them to put at least four in the back of the net on Thursday morning against a Copenhagen side that has already allowed 17 in five games
