Zipping Classic Day this year will be run at Caulfield with a healthy crowd expected in what is basically the final day of the Spring Carnival.
Race one gets underway at 12:35pm with gallopers expected to race on a Good 4 surface.
It is likely to be $4.50 the field for the main race of the day with former Melbourne Cup winner Vow and Declare the likely favourite. Brendan Bunworth takes a look at the form with his best bets of the Caulfield program below.
Caulfield Racing Tips - Saturday Novemebr 26th 2022
Race 6
(1) Grandslam drops three kilos from last start where he ran well at Moonee Valley. He is fitter now and should settle around 4th early from a good barrier in three. Craig Williams hops on and a Good track should suit. He has won at Caulfield before and he does go very well second up. He goes down in class after unplaced runs at this track in the winter and running a good third last time behind Winning Partner.

Race 7 - Zipping Classic
(5) Chapada gets his last chance with me here in the Group 2 Zipping Classic.
Mike Moroney’s seven-year-old has been a pretty good horse for connections even though he doesn't win too often. The blinkers go off for this and his 12th in the Caulfield Cup, beaten only 4L wasn't too bad. In the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes it was a similar story when 12th beaten 4L behind Smokin’ Romans.
On Derby Day he settled back and the race wasn't run to suit when 5th.
He will be big odds but he is very fit and this will likely be his last run of the prep.
Dan Stackhouse knows the horse and if the speed is on, he may roll over the top of them.
If he doesn't run top three, I will have to sack him after what has been a pretty good career, winning more than $1.2 million.
(5) Chapada E/W
$26.00/$7.00 (0.5u e/w)
Race 8
(3) The Fortune Teller for the Maher & Eustace team has finished second at his only run on Good ground raced well when third in a Group 1 race last start after running home very well. He has had four runs this prep so he is very fit now after four runs from a spell and has had a four week freshen up for this race. Johnny Allen stays on and although he hasn't won this prep he hasn't been far away in two of those races. From barrier 10 I think Allen may settle in the back half of the field and try to run on again.
(5) Atmosphere for Team Cummimgs may set a strong tempo here which will suit The Fortune Teller.
(13) See You in Heaven and has barrier 13 so it may be too unlucky for some but he is the likely favourite.
(3) The Fortune Teller
$4.20 (2 units)
Race 9
(14) Cliff’s Art has a good barrier in four and should be able to position handy in a race where there isn't much pace about. She has won four from nine on the Good surface and her Flemington 11th in the Group 1 Empire Stakes was better than it looked on paper. It was a similar story at Rosehill last start when 8th only beaten 3L. Jordan Childs takes the ride for the first time. Cliff trialled well a couple of weeks ago and likes the distance and should give a good sight at each-way odds in the last race of the carnival.
(8) Roots for Chris Waller will be the likely favourite.
(14) Cliff’s Art E/W
