CANTERBURY RACING TIPS
R1 - Poetic Charmer

R3 - Forever Dream (Best Bet)
R4 - Beijing Board (Best Value)

Best Bet: Race 3 Forever Dream
Bit of a spruik horse that was backed off the map and won in good style on debut. Just needs a clear run to win this. Main danger is Uptown Lad.
Best Value: Race 4 Beijing Board
Didn't do a lot on his Australian debut but he has never placed first up in any of his four runs which tells me he tends to need the run. Has won his only race when he was second up and that was on a Heavy track so the Soft 6 shouldn't worry him here. Set to improve sharply up in distance to the 1900m at $8.50.

R5 - Rockstar Rebel
R6 - Spanish Love EW / My Obsession EW

Best Bet: Race 5 Rockstar Rebel
If he can't win this race he may never win again! Drops 3kg from last start when 2nd over this distance and he is up against a bunch of horses that probably need further. No excuses today.
Best Value: Race 6 Spanish Love
Has shown absolutely nothing this prep but is fit now for having three starts, gets the blinkers back on and gets back onto a Good track which will be the key. $41 is good value. Stablemate My Obsession also over the odds.
