BBL13 continues on Friday night as the Melbourne Renegades take on the Adelaide Strikers from Marvel Stadium at 7.15pm. As always, we have a preview and betting tips for the clash below.
BBL13 Renegades vs Strikers Betting Tips
Marvel Stadium, Friday 29th December, 7.15pm (AEDT)
Renegades
The Renegades have been competitive in BBL13 so far but that will only get you so far in this league. They are 0-4 from their five scheduled games so far, going down to the Scorchers over in Perth in their last game.
Throughout the season, they have shown glimpses of being able to compete with the best sides in the competition, highlighted by a score of 183 when betting first against the Hurricanes in Hobart, followed by a strong bowling performance keeping the Scorchers to just 162 in Perth. Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to put a complete game together yet and as such, find themselves on the bottom of the table.
Renegades Predicted XI: Joe Clarke, Quinton de Kock, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Mackenzie Harvey, Aaron Finch, Jono Wells, Will Sutherland, Tom Rogers, Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Strikers
The Strikers sit in 4th place on the BBL13 table with a 1-1 record through three scheduled games. In their most recent match, they went down in thrilling fashion by just one run to the Sixers in Sydney back on the 22nd of December.
Fielding first, the Strikers kept the Sixers to a manageable total of just 155 on the back of strong bowling performances from Jamie Overton (3/23) and Matthew Short (2/13). They couldn’t get the job done with the bat, however, as they fell one run short despite skipper Short scoring 55.
Strikers Predicted XI: D’Arcy Short, Matthew Short, Chris Lynn, Jake Weatherald, Adam Hose, Jamie Overton, James Bazley, Harry Nielsen, Wes Agar, David Payne, Cameron Boyce
Betting Tips
I really like the value of the Renegades at Marvel Stadium on Friday night. They have been close to snagging their first win of the season on multiple occasions and I think the Strikers could be a bit out of touch given they will have not played in a week come Friday night.
I think the Gades two pronged spin attack in Zampa and Rahman is dangerous on any surface and they possess a true game changer at the top of the order in de Kock. Back them as underdogs to win on Friday night.

Same Game Multi
Adam Zampa has played nine games under the roof at Marvel Stadium across his BBL career. He has taken 14 wickets at an impressive economy rate of just 6.67 in those nine games. I think he can snag 2+ here.
Mackenzie Harvey is likely to come into the side at the expense of the struggling Nic Maddinson on Friday night. He should take up the mantle at No.4 and represents great value for 15+ given he's in that slot.
Adam Zampa 2+ Wickets
Mackenzie Harvey 15+ Runs
