Match Prediction
The Sixers have been the form side of the competition and sit atop the BBL table with three wins and one loss from their four games. They are coming off a brilliant win over the Stars on Saturday night, where they chased down a mammoth 193 on the back of 96 from skipper Daniel Hughes. The additions of West Indian stars and former T20 world champions Jason Holder and Carlos Braithwaite has strengthened both their bowling and batting stocks and now makes the Sixers look like the deepest squad in the competition.
The Renegades have gotten off to an incredibly slow start to the season. They have won just one of their four games and sit in 2nd last place on the table. They were absolutely dismal against the Thunder in their last game, being bowled out for 80 in just over 12 overs in reply to 209 for the Thunder, the highest score of the competition so far. The internationals have failed to fire for the Renegades so far, with the form of Mohammad Nabi, Rilee Rossouw and Imad Wasin a stark comparison to some of the top imports in the league in the likes of Nicholas Pooran, James Vince, Colin Ingram and the Sixers West Indian duo.
The Sixers start as favourites here and rightly so given their start to the season. The $1.69 price tag still offers a lot of value in my opinion though. With Holder and Brathwaite in the line-up for the Sixers, their team now more resembles an international squad than a Big Bash League team. Combine the pair with the hard hitting all-rounder in Dan Christian and the Sixers have a middle order that is arguably one of the more damaging ever assembled in the Big Bash League. They will back themselves to chase down any target, as they did on Saturday night, and will win this game.
Renegades Prop Bet
Kane Richardson gets the job done year in, year out for the Renegades. He sits in third place on the all-time leading BBL wicket takers list with 90 through 72 games and has already taken seven this season through his opening four games. He took one wicket against the Sixers in their clash earlier in the year and in 13 career games against Sydney he has taken 11 wickets at an average of just 14.33. Back him to top the Renegades wicket taker list.

Sixers Prop Bet
Jason Holder looked too good with the ball against the Stars on Saturday night. In a game where Nicholas Pooran and Glenn Maxwell were going off through the middle overs resulting in Sandhu, Christian and Dwarshuis all having economy rates of 11 or higher, Holder was really impressive taking 1-26 off his four overs. Is an absolute world class bowler in any format and like the odds here for him to be the Sixers top wicket-taker.
