BBL09 Scorchers vs Heat Betting Tips
Perth Scorchers
The Scorchers come into this clash having won two of their last three games, one of those wins coming in dominant fashion over the Brisbane Heat. When the two sides met at Metricon Stadium on the 1st of January, the Scorchers batted first and compiled 149 on the back of a 50 by Cameron Bancroft. In reply, the talented Scorchers bowling line-up rolled through the Heat for just 109, with Fawad Ahmed, Ashton Agar and Matthew Kelly all taking multiple wickets.
As the striker bowler of the Perth attack, Richardson will play a massive part at the bouncier Optus Stadium on Saturday night. Richardson has taken just seven wickets through the opening seven games for the Scorchers, but looked ominous in the Scorcers last game, taking 3/22 off four overs against the Renegades just a few days ago. Might have abit of a chip on his shoulder after not being selected in the Australian ODI side so we think he'll have something to prove on Saturday night.

Brisbane Heat
After all the pre-season hype surrounding the Heat resulted in a slow start to the season, they have seemingly hit their straps over the last few weeks. The Heat have won their last three games in a row, with their last loss coming at the hands of the Scorchers back on the 1st of Jan.It's been the Heat batting that has lead the way in their resurgence. In their last three games when batting first, the Heat have plundered scores of 209, 212 and 119 off just eight overs.
Chris Lynn has been the catalyst of that resurgence, scoring 251 runs at an average of 41.83 through the seven games so far. Lynn has played 11 games against the Scorchers in his BBL career, scoring 470 runs at a ridiculous average of 58.75. That average against the Scorchers his higher than any other BBL oppoenent, so it's safe to say he loves playing against them. He'll need to be big again on Saturday night if the Heat hope to win, back the all-time leading BBL run scorer to get the job done here.

Prediction
Tough game to call here. The Scorchers and Heat have had a prety even rivalry over the years, both claiming six games in their last 12 meetings. The Scorchers got the chocolates at Metricon Stadium earlier in the season so the Heat will be keen to get one back here. The Heat's batting line-up seems to have finally found some form, which is incredibly hard to overlook. They are probably team that is most capable of scoring 200+ on any given night in the BBL, which is a daunting prospect. Look for them to win the toss, bat and set a winning total.
