Bowling
The bowling stocks at the Sixers are certainly an interesting and unique case. If they are able to field their best team, they have inarguably the best bowling attack in the league, with Australian representatives in Mitch Starc, Sean Abbott and Nathan Lyon in the mix. They will, however, be without those three for the majority of the season due to Test duties. The loss of Abbott to the Test team is the real blow for the Sixers, as he has been the lynchpin of the attack for the better part of the decade.
Even without those three, the Sixers still possess a quality attack, that will likely consist of Ben Dwarshuis, Jackson Bird, Tom Curran, Carlos Brathwaite and Stephen O’Keefe on opening night. Love the value of Tom Curran to top the wicket takers list at the Sixers this season. Took 22 wickets in 14 games last year and although he won’t be available until after Christmas, there will be so much chopping and changing within the Sydney attack this season that he might not need to play as many games to top the list.

Batting
Skipper Moises Henriques is in a rich vein of form at the moment, highlighted by his inclusion in the Australian ODI squad against India. He will lead a dynamic batting line-up that includes home-grown talent in Josh Philippe, Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silk. The Sixers also added BBL veteran Dan Christian this season, who will add big hitting down the order and economic bowling.
The one to watch, however, will be their English import James Vince, who will be available for the full season this year after missing out on the English international squad. He is great value to top the runscorers list for the Sixers. Back him to do so at $3.30.

Prediction: 3rd
The reigning champions will be a massive contender to go back to back this season with the list they have put together. Their key players are available for the whole season, which is always super important in BBL and they could get a massive influx of talent injected into the squad should they make a deep finals run again.
