AFL Round 17 Spread Betting Tips
We think with the form that St Kilda are in at the moment a close loss to the Bombers on Friday night is the worst outcome for them. They play a defensive style of football that sees a lot of tackles and pressure being put on their opponents. At best, however, they could end up steamrolling the Bombers like they did Richmond last weekend, it really just depends on which St Kilda turns up. Regardless, we don’t think you’d be risking much with a bet on the Saints line here.
TIP: St Kilda match line -8 points

Tom Mitchell is the best player in fantasy football, hands down. An off week by his ridiculous standards saw him score 117 against the Crows in Round 14. That score was sandwhiched by a 141, a 135 and a 143 in rounds 12, 15 and 16. The guy is a monster and has only racked up less than 30 disposals on one occasion this year. Should cruise past 122 fantasy points here.
TIP: Tom Mitchell OVER 122 fantasy points

There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms forcasted up North for Saturday’s game involving the Suns and the Pies. We think with the way AFL is played these days, even at their best a total score line of 183 is a few points too high. Throw in the potential rain factor and it could be a low scoring game. We like the under here.
TIP: Total score UNDER 183 points

GWS are still so banged up at the moment and they come up against the most in form team in the league at the moment in the Sydney Swans. We’ve been riding the Sydney time of first score in every week of our spread betting tips so far and every week they continue to deliver by over 100 units. They have hit the under in 9 out of their last 10 games and at 307 seconds the line it probably still a bit too high.
TIP: Sydney first score under 307 seconds
