Round 6 for the 2025 AFL Premiership season will get underway this Thursday night with a rematch of the 2023 AFL Grand Final between Brisbane and Collingwood. The game will take place at the Gabba, which means the Magpies will have to travel away from their vaunted MCG for one of the few times this season. Brisbane are the reigning premiers and have started the season 5-0 to sit alone at the top of the ladder, while Collingwood have also started 4-1 and look back to their 2023 form after a down season last year.
As always this is all about the daily fantasy and this massive Thursday night game draws another massive $60,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:

Where to Attack?
No surprise that between these two top teams there is very little obvious areas to attack from a fantasy perspective. Brisbane have actually given up over 4 points per game to general forwards, which is the third highest mark in the league to that position this year. After that, they have been slightly above average to inside midfielders, ruck and defenders making Collingwood stacks a lean play although noting this game is up in Brisbane where the Lions are favourites.
Collingwood on the other hand have given up the fewest points in the league to key forwards, second fewest points to general defenders and fifth fewest to designated kickers. On the flip side there are small opportunities to target inside midfielders and rucks against Collingwood.

VALUE PLAYS
Beau McCreery ($7,650)… this is a very tough game to leverage value from, however Brisbane have been giving up over 4 points per game above league average to general forwards this season. McCreery has had five games over 50 points this season, including one game of 64. This does not sound like big returns, however on a single game slate between two of the best teams in the league it might be enough if you can nail where you spend up. There is a very solid floor at this price point with potential upside given the matchup.
Cam Rayner ($8,970) is another player who offers 10x upside for his price point on this single game slate. He is featuring in 14% of centre bounces, not a high number but does give him a little more scoring potential. Two weeks ago he returned 85 fantasy points against the Tigers. This will be a much tougher matchup.
MID PRICED PLAYS
Jaspa Fletcher ($10,840) has moved to half back this season, which has meant he has been able to pick up a few kick in scraps from Dayne Zorko but in addition his scoring has boosted significantly. Over the last two games Fletcher has notched up 101 and 98 fantasy points. This isn’t the best matchup as Collingwood have been rather stingy to opposition defenders so far this year but the new role at this price point looks like great value on a single game slate.
PREMIUM PLAYS
Darcy Cameron ($15,210) has had an absolutely dominant start to the 2025 season averaging 107 points through five games. His only game under 100 points Mason Cox played - as the sole ruck he is averaging 116 points per game. This is also a positive matchup with the Lions giving just over 1 point above league average which looks like an edge to leverage on a single game slate between two tough teams.
Lachie Neale ($15,320) will likely lift against this Magpies team at home. Collingwood have not been applying hard tags this season which is usually the only achilles heal for Neale. He has still shown plenty of upside this season with two games over 115 points and Collingwood have given up slightly above league average to inside midfielders this season.
