New York Knicks at Miami Heat
Kaseya Center, 9:30am AEST
The intriguing Eastern Conference second round series between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat continues on Tuesday with Game 4 in Miami. The Heat will be looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead before heading back to New York for Game 5, but the Knicks will clearly have other ideas.
The Heat held their nerve in Game 4 with a comfortable 105-86 win to protect home court. They controlled the game from the opening tip and never looked back. Still, only half of the job is done in this two-game homestand, and the Heat still need one more win to consolidate the break of serve they achieved by wining Game 1 on the road.
Meanwhile, the Knicks will be desperate to bounce back with a much stronger performance on the road in Game 4. They could score only 86 points last start in what was their lowest scoring output for the entire season.
The only way is up for the Knicks after their last performance and I expect them to respond in Game 4. They actually had a better record on the road (24-17) comparted to at home (23-18) in the regular season, so an upset win is certainly not beyond them.
However, the Heat will also be desperate to consolidate their advantage in this series, which makes this a tough contest to predict in terms of a winner. Instead, I love the value of Any Other Result in the Wire-to-Wire market, as it should be a topsy-turvy affair where each team has patches of dominance throughout the four quarters.

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers
Crypto.com Arena, 12pm AEST
The second round series that has everyone’s tongues wagging is that of the Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers. Game 4 of this epic series will take place in LA on Tuesday, with the Lakers looking to take a near unconquerable 3-1 lead.
The Lakers have been one of the best teams in the competitions since the trade deadline, so a big kudos to their front office is in order. Despite having to make their way through the Play-In Tournament, the Lakers have already knocked off the #2 seeded Grizzlies in the West, and are now looking to make the defending champs their next victim.
The Warriors, although 2-1 down and now without home court advantage, will still be confident of making their way out of this series and into the Conference Finals. They struggled mightily on the road in the regular season, but showed they can up the ante in the post-season when winning two crucial road games in their first round series win against the Kings.
Although his performances in the playoffs have been inconsistent to say the least, Anthony Davis has proven to be a mismatch nightmare for the Warriors and is someone who I don’t think they’ll have an answer for over a best-of-seven series. At home and in control, I believe the Lakers will be too strong in Game 4 and should be able to negotiate a win against what will be a determined Warriors outfit.
