NBA Playoffs Betting Tips: Conference Finals Game 4
Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers
Crypto.com Arena, Tuesday 10:30am AEST
The Denver Nuggets have quickly halted the Los Angeles Lakers hype train by racing to a 3-0 series lead in their Western Conference Finals matchup.
Although they lost the opening two games in Denver, there was plenty of optimism in the Laker camp ahead of their return to Crpyto.com Arena for Game 3; however, the visiting Nuggets showed their quality once again when storming clear in the first quarter and building a lead they could managed the rest of the way.
LeBron James and the Lakers now find themselves down 3-0, which is a deficit that no team has ever overcome in NBA Playoffs history.
James has been heavily criticized for his decision making in fourth quarters during this series, particularly with how much he’s settled for taking threes despite shooting it at an awful clip in these playoffs.
However, James will be desperate to avoid getting swept on the Lakers home floor, as that would be a big dent on his legacy. I expect him and the Lakers to step up on Tuesday and extend this series to at least a fifth game.

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat
Kaseya Center, Wednesday 10:30am AEST
The Boston Celtics entered their Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Miami Heat as the red-hot favourites but have been thoroughly outplayed in all three games to date, particularly down the stretch when games are won and lost.
The Celtics talked the talk after their Game 2 loss in Boston and assured fans they’ll bounce back and get themselves back into the series; however, what transpired on Monday was the complete opposite as they were blown off the court in an embarrassing 102-128 defeat.
It’s not often you see a #8 seed on the verge of sweeping what were the championship favourites, but that’s exactly the situation that has arisen.
We all expected the Celtics to bounce back after their Game 1 defeat, and when that didn’t happen we were sure they would play with desperation and steal Game 3, and that didn’t happen either. In fact, the Celtics looked a broken and disjointed team last outing and their belief has clearly run out. As a result, I’ll be backing in the Heat to seal the deal on Wednesday.
