The 2020 PGA Tour got off to a great start on the weekend as the Military Tribute at the Greenbrier was won by Chilean youngster Joaquin Niemann. The tour heads to Jackson in Mississippi this weekend for the annual Sansderson Farms Championship!

2019 Sanderson Farms Championship Betting Tips
The tournament has been part of the PGA Tour since the 1968 season, however, it was renamed and rebranded the Sanderson Farms Championship back in 2013, when it took over from the True South Classic. The Country Club of Jackson has hosted the event since the 2014 season.
The Course
The Country Club of Jackson opened in 1914 and comprises 27 total holes. The championship layout plays at just over 7,400 yards as a Par 72 and was originally designed by Dick Wilson and redesigned by John Fought in 2009.
One of the main features of the course are it’s tricky green complexes that are often raised above tough run off areas. While the fairways won’t be extremely hard to find this week, the green complexes can be tough to hit and even harder to stay on.
With the difficulty of the run-offs at the Country Club of Jackson, we’ll be targeting both strong scramblers and strong one putt percentage players this week. Usually, a score in the high teens under par wins.
The Field
The first five tournaments of the 2020 PGA Tour season all have a purse of $7,500,000 or less, so we won’t be expecting to see many high profile players competing in the these first few events. Defending champion Cameron Champ headlines the field alongside some other previous winners of the tournament in Ryan Armour, Peter Malnati, Nick Taylor, Scott Stallings and D.J. Trahan.
There will be plenty of PGA Tour rookies making their second start of the year after competing in the Greenbrier last weekend. Scottie Scheffler tops the rookie rankings and will be making a start alongside the likes of Harry Higgs, Scott Harrington and Doug Ghim.
Prediction
We love the look of rookie Scottie Scheffler this weekend. The rookie finished third in the Korn-Ferry Tour regular season points rankings and was super impressive to kick off his debut season at Greenbrier last weekend, shooting three rounds under par including a round two 62 to finish at -13 and T7 overall.
Scheffler was first overall at Greenbrier in shots gained from tee to green and and had a fairly strong outing at the Sanderson Farms Championship last weekend as well, shooting -5 to finish T45 overall.
