EPL Matchday 10 Betting Tips
Manchester City vs Aston Villa
Saturday 10:30pm, Etihad Stadium
Manchester City put the Wolves loss behind them quickly with a professional 2-0 win against Crystal Palace last time out. Aguero was out and Jesus started and chimed in with the opening goal that got the ball rolling for the Citizens. They’re now just six points behind Liverpool after the Reds slipped up against Manchester United.
Aston Villa have found some nice from in the EPL with two wins in a row. They brought in some form from their 5-1 win the week prior to dismiss a determined Brighton outfit 2-1. They’re now in midtable and are four points clear of the drop zone.
Manchester City have recorded four clean sheets from their last seven fixtures in all competitions and should increase that stat if they refrain from any brain fades in this fixture. We expect them to win this one fairly comfortably.
Manchester City Win to Nil

Watford vs Bournemouth
Sunday 1am, Vicarage Road
Watford are the only team without a win in the EPL this season and will be out to change that this weekend. They played extremely well at Spurs last weekend and would’ve been good for all three points had some dubious VAR decisions gone their way, particularly the penalty decision on Deulofeu, which was a terrible call.
Bournemouth were held to a nil all draw last time out against Norwich, which makes it four games without a win in all competitions for the Cherries. They started off the season in fine form but now see themselves drifting down the table. Eddie Howe may want to make some changes in the attacking third to ensure they capitalise on some of their possession in the final third.
Watford may not have won a game thus far, but the way they played on the road last weekend leads us to believe this will be the week for them. Decoure was in fine form last week and we believe he can help lead this side to their first win of the season on home soil.
Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur
Monday 3:30am, Anfield
Liverpool put in their worst performance of the season last time out at Old Trafford. They looked like they were in for their first loss of the season when they were trailing 1-0 in the dying stages, but substitute Adam Lallana ensured that wasn’t to be when he equalised to give the Reds a share of the points.
As mentioned above, the Spurs were really lucky to grab a late point at home against Watford last time out in the league and will need to bring a much better performance to Anfield this weekend if they’re any chance of causing an upset. A big win midweek in the UCL will give them some added confidence, although it was against some pretty poor opposition.
Liverpool are unbeaten in the league this season and have been absolutely fantastic at home, winning all fixtures thus far. They now get a look at a Spurs outfit that is struggling for confidence and haven’t produced a great performance in some time. We expect Liverpool to win this one easy and stay six points clear of City at the top of the table.
