Once again, there is a massive amount of money on the line in AFL DFS this Saturday, the 14th of April! Draftstars lead the way with a monster $50k guaranteed tournament, while Moneyball is offering $5k guaranteed.
If you want a good overlay and the chance to win some tickets into the massive $100,000 Guaranteed Super Contest in August, make sure you check out the offerings at PlayON this weekend! We are back once again with our fantasy team of the week, this week using the Moneyball pricing for the Saturday slate below!
Defenders: Ed Richards, Jeremy Finlayson
Two young guys in defence here in Ed Richards and Jeremy Finlayson make up the defensive pair. Richards has been fantastic in his two games so far, averaging 65.5 points and racking up a great 85 in Round 3 against the Bombers. Finlayson has arguably been the pick of the rookies in defence all season with scores of 65, 90 and 59 through his first three games. Has a great matchup this weekend against the Dockers.
Midfielders: Luke Parker, Nick Holman, Stephen Coniglio, Patrick Cripps
Love the matchups of Cripps, Coniglio and Parker here. North Melbourne, Western Bulldogs and Fremantle have proved to be some of the easiest teams in the league to score against so far this season and this guys consistently win their own ball at a high level. All three average over 100 but its bit tons we’ll be looking for this week.
Holman has been the best rookie in the game to open the season. Scores of 89, 84 and 67 have made him great value and at just $4,100 again this weekend its an easy choice.
Forwards: Toby Greene, Jake Waterman
Greene returns from injury this weekend and should play well against Fremantle, who are a bottom eight team in terms of points allowed in fantasy. Had a monster 118 in Round 1 against the Bulldogs and could be needed in the midfield at times this weekend with no Scully and no Kelly in the line-up.
Waterman manages to stay in the West Coast side this week despite the return of Josh Kennedy from injury. Was fantastic in the win over Geelong last weekend with 96 points and if he can have similar output on the marking front, should score well again.
Ruck: Cam Sinclair
The obvious pick is the cheapest one this week in my opinion. Cam Sinclair lines up against the Dogs who really have no specialist ruckman. Had a monster score of 123 last weekend against GWS and hasn’t scored under 87 all year. Great value.
