We’ve got a fresh face taking over the tips this week with the SundayLeagueShark taking a well-earned holiday. The FootballFantatic will be with you for Game Week 4 of the 2018/19 season, using his expert knowledge to provide some value plays over the weekend.
We’re confident that we’ve got a couple of winners coming your way as we take a look at some of the key games in Week 4 of the EPL below!
EPL Week 4 Betting Tips
Leicester vs Liverpool (Saturday 9.30pm AEST)
We kick off our EPL Week 4 tips with a play on the first game of the weekend between Leicester City and Liverpool at King Power Stadium. Both teams have had strong starts to their 2018/19 campaigns, with Leicester holding a 2-0-1 record and Liverpool a perfect 3-0-0 record. Despite Leicester’s solid form they will start as huge underdogs at home against the Reds.
I expect Liverpool to continue their unbeaten season on Saturday night, but also feel that Leicester have the ability to cause them some troubles. In particular, I see value in the ‘Both teams to score’ market. History tells us that this is a good play between these teams. In the 8 premier league fixtures these sides have played since Leicester’s return to the top flight in 2014, there have been 28 goals scored, with both teams scoring in the match on 6 of 8 occasions.
There is definitely value for a small play on Leicester to win at $7, or even the double chance market at around $2.50. However, my confidence lies with the both teams to score market the most. Both teams play attacking football and score goals for fun, which makes this a solid play to start the weekend.

Everton vs Huddersfield (Sunday 12am AEST)
Our second play of the week comes from the Everton vs Huddersfield Town match being played at Goodison Park at midnight on Saturday night (AEST). The Toffees are one of my favourite teams to back in the early part of the season as I feel they’re underrated at the bookies despite having a really solid squad. They’ve begun their 2018/19 campaign with 1 win and 2 draws through 3 games. Meanwhile, Huddersfield have struggled severely in the early part of their season, managing just 1 point from 3 matches, including a 6-1 loss to Manchester City in week 2.
The loss of Richarlison will hurt the Toffees a tad in this match, as he started the season in absolutely blistering form, scoring 3 goals in his first 2 matches. However, they still have class all over the pitch, spearheaded by their Icelandic attacking midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson. After watching their first 3 games of the season I can confidently say that they’ll feature In the top half of the table again this season, which means taking care of matches like this. For Huddersfield, well I’m honestly concerned for their fans, as I just can’t see how they’ll attain enough points to remain in the top flight of English football.
There’s value in Everton straight if you’re looking for one to add to a multi. However, I feel that they can make a statement at home this week and put in a number of goals against the weaker Huddersfield.

Burnley vs Manchester United (Monday 1am AEST)
Our final play for the weekend is the 1am Monday morning (AEST) fixture between Burnley at Turf Moor. Burnley haven’t started off the season the way they would’ve liked too, earning themselves just 1 point from a possible 9. For Manchester United, they’re much the same, suffering consecutive defeats to Brighton and Tottenham after winning their opening match against Leicester.
My main concern for Burnley is that they have an extremely thin squad, especially when they’re due to feature in European competition this year. They have a lot of talent in their starting 11, but if a few injuries occur they’ll be in big trouble. But in saying that, I’m happy to back them in the early part of the season as they’re usually undervalued at bookies. On the other hand, United are looking like a real basket case at the moment, with Jose Mourinho’s job security seemingly decreasing after each match.
I just can’t see how you can back Manchester United away from home at such short odds with the form they’re in. Instead, I like the ‘Both teams to score market, as both defences have looked vulnerable so far this season.
