There’s a special Boxing Day slate of EPL action on Wednesday night (AEDT). In the slate we have a few massive games with some of the leagues best taking on some very worthy challengers. Here, we’ve provided previews and betting tips for the games we believe represent the best value. As always, good luck to everyone following!
EPL Boxing Day Betting Tips
Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth (Thursday 2am AEDT)
The Spurs come into this in some really nice form and have arguably flown right under the radar this season. They’ve won 14 of their 18 games this campaign, including four wins a row and a 6-2 demolition job against Everton in their last outing.
Meanwhile, the Cherries have dropped off from their terrific start to the season where they had six wins against two losses. As it currently stands, they’re in eighth spot on the table with a 8-2-8 record. They’ll be looking to take a big scalp sooner or later to get reward for their fantastic effort to date.
We have the Spurs being far too good for the Cherries at home in this one. They’re scoring goals for fun of late, and will be desperate to stay in touch with league leaders, Liverpool. We see a -1.5 start for the home team as real value here.

Manchester United vs Huddersfield Town (Thursday 2am AEDT)
Manchester United fans would be stoked with the performance under their new manager last weekend, where they ran out 5-1 winners against Cardiff on the road. It seems like life after Jose Mourinho looks a lot brighter for the Reds, but they’ll need to get busy in the second half of the season to find themselves in a European competition next year.
Huddersfield are one of many teams that have to grind week in and week out to get a result in the Premier League. As it stands, they’re in 19th position on the table with just 10 points from 18 games. The good news for them is there’s plenty of games left to make a push towards mid table, but they’d like to get busy sooner rather than later.
Once again, we like the home team at a -1.5 handicap. United looked full of life in their first game post-Mourinho and we think they take even more confidence into this game. Look for them to get on top early and put their foot on the throat of Huddersfield.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal (Thursday 4:15am AEDT)
Brighton and Hove have enjoyed a decent stretch of games lately to elevate themselves from the relegation battle - at least for now. They’re currently in 13th position on the table with 21 points through 18 games, which has them nine points clear of the dreaded drop-zone. They return home this fixture where they’ve enjoyed four wins from eight games.
The Gunners long unbeaten streak was snapped recently Southampton by three goals to two, which was then followed by a loss to the Spurs in the English Cup. However, they returned to winning ways against Burnley in their latest EPL fixture, which keeps them in touch with the top four. The Gunners are currently in fifth position with 37 points, but are only goal difference behind Chelsea in fourth.
This time we’ve opted to go with the away team, who we feel will be too strong for Brighton here. The Gunners are in a decent position considering how they started the season, and will be looking to start the start half of the season much stronger. They have some great chemistry going at the moment and we’re confident they get all three points here.
