AFL Daily Fantasy Team of the Week – Round 13
Defenders
Jarrod Berry
The Brisbane youngster impressed last weekend with 73 against the Dockers. Gets plenty of time in the midfield so has the chance to have some real value at just $8,550.
Liam Jones
Jones’ return to football was an eventful one as the Blues had a huge win over the Giants on the weekend. The defender had 14 disposals and racked up 8 marks for 72 fantasy points and should improve with more game time.
Midfielders
Jake Lloyd
Lloyd backed up his disappointing score of two a couple of weeks ago with a monster 122 on the weekend against the bulldogs. Besides his injury game a few weeks ago, Lloyd hasn’t failed to collect at least 28 touches since Round 1. Should have another big game here against the Tigers.
Marc Murphy
Carlton face off against the Gold Coast Suns this weekend who have been a mid-range team to score against throughout the season. Murphy has only 2 scores under 100 for the year and has been one of the most consistent scorers, averaging 114 over the season.
Ollie Wines
Rounds 10, 11 and 12 have all produced scores over 107 from Wines and he comes up against the Lions this weekend who have allowed the 6th most fantasy points per game of any team in the league.
Michael Barlow
After somewhat struggling through the earlier part of the season, barlow has bounced back recently with five scores over 90 in the past 6 games. Should be a fairly high scoring game under the roof at Etihad so we like him to notch up at least another ton here.
Forwards
Will Hayward
Going cheap for our two forward positions so we could spend in the midfield. Will Hayward has only averaged 52 on the season so far but has had two scores of at least 64 in his last three games. A 70 out of him here should be enough at this price.
Hugh McCluggage
McCluggage has racked up over 15 disposals in his last 3 games. Needs to kick goals OR take marks to score heavily but should be in the 70s if he can snag a few here. A cheap pick but at his price there isn’t much else in the forward line.
Ruck
Callum Sinclair
The Sydney ruckman is by far the cheapest of all of the starting rucks on Saturday. Should have the slight hitout advantage against Toby Nankervis who is more of a mobile ruckman. Scored 89 in his last outing which we would happily take again here.
