A score of 787 in a very low scoring Sunday in Round 10 saw us about 100 off the leader in the Drafstars $30k event. We are back with another team of the week for the same tournament this week, hoping to climb our way even further up the ladder. With only one game on Sunday this week, Collingwood and Fremantle, it could be a challenge to find a unique line-up but we’ll give it our best shot.

AFL Daily Fantasy Team of the Week – Round 11
Defenders
Luke Ryan ($6,400)
The young Docker comes in for his debut on Sunday so there is a lot of unknown surrounding him. However, there aren’t many cheap defenders floating around so there is definitely value there at $6,000. His draft profile claims he is an elite intercept marking and running defender, exactly what we need in our fantasy team.
Joel Hamling ($8,000)
There aren’t many premium defenders on offer in the Fremantle and Collingwood squads so we’ve decided to go dirt cheap in the backline with another young player. At just $8,000, Hamling will be a great selection if he can replicate his 76 last weekend against Brisbane.
Midfielders
Adam Treloar ($15,700)
The gun midfielder backed up a disappointing 82 two weeks ago with a 126 and a 109 in the last two games. Seems to be back to his best and skimping in other places has allowed us to go deep in the midfield. Should be a fairly even game in the midfield with enough possessions to go around.
Steele Sidebottom ($14,900)
Sidebottom has returned to form after a few down games, 101, 109 and a massive 139 in the last three weeks have proved his ability to go big. Spent more time in the midfield last week, racking up 34 disposals and kicking a goal. Averages almost a goal a game as well as 5 marks and 4 tackles.
Lachie Neale ($13,650)
Had an absolute stinker last weekend as the Dockers were smashed by the Crows in Perth, scoring just 60 points on 17 possessions. It was his first game under 97 in the last 5 games and we are predicting him to bounce back with another 100+ here in a game that should be more evenly spread in the midfield.
Jordan De Goey ($9,700)
It was a good game for most Collingwood players last weekend as the Pies smashed Brisbane and De Goey in particular had a spike in performance with 75 points. We are hoping he can carry some of that form into the Dockers game. At just $9,700, he should be one of the more valued midfielders.
Forwards
Jamie Elliot ($11,400)
Has kicked at least 3 goals in every game since Round 7 and had a great game last weekend with 14 touches and 4 goals including 4 tackles. Will get even more opportunity this weekend with Alex Fasolo coming out of the team, should be the focal point of the forward line along with Darcy Moore.
Cam McCarthy ($8,600)
Another value pick here. The forward had only 41 points last weekend and needs to kick goals to score. Has kicked at least 1 goal in every game since Round 3 and scored a 96 in Round 4. Hoping for a similar performance here.
Ruck
Aaron Sandilands ($11,100)
Missed last week but returns here in what should be a hotly contested ruck battle against Brodie Grundy. Brodie Grundy has the potential have much bigger scores but the Sandilands’ potential matched with his $11,100 price tag is too good to refuse and allows us to spend in the midfield.
