We hit on just 1 of 3 EPL betting tips last weekend but we’ll be looking to bounce back in Week 28 of the English Premier League season as we take a look at some of the key matchups and give our tips below.
EPL Week 28 Betting Tips
Liverpool vs West Ham (Sunday 2am AEDT)
Liverpool are fresh off a monster mid-week win in the Champions League last week. The Reds downed FC Porto 5-0 away from home to take a commanding lead into leg two and leave them heavy favourites to advance to the round of eight. They’ll be back at Anfield this weekend as they host West Ham, who also had a good win last weekend, downing Watford 2-0.
Star off-season recruit Marko Arnautovic was finally back on the scorers list, slotting one in the win over Watford while Javier Hernandez also looked threatening. The game against Watford was the style of play that West Ham would have been looking for after spending some large sums on players in the offseason, and after some shakey times hovering around the relegation zone, they now look safe in 12th place.
The trip to Anfield won’t be an easy task though. Liverpool have won seven of their last 10 games and lost just one in that same span. In fact, Liverpool have lost just three games all season, which is the 2nd best mark behind only Manchester City. With their ridiculous offensive play at the moment, we can’t look past the Reds here.

Manchester United vs Chelsea (Monday 1.05am AEDT)
Manchester United and Chelsea both played out draws in their Champions League fixtures throughout the week as Chelsea finished 1-1 with Barcelona and the Red Devils couldn’t break the 0-0 deadlock with Sevilla away from home. It was an impressive performance by the Blues, who had more of the key chances throughout the game against the Spanish giants and were unlucky not to come away with a win.
Manchester United have dropped away in the EPL of late, winning just five of their last 10 games and losing last weekend to an out of form Newcastle team. They’ll welcome the return to Old Trafford this weekend after a tough trip to Spain through the week which should benefit them against a travelling Blues team.
For all the hype surrounding the rivalry between these two teams, the fixture has produced some lacklustre matches in the past. The home side has won the fixture to nil the past four times these two teams have played and at least one clean sheet has been kept in six of the last seven matches. We expect this one to be another pretty defensive affair.

Arsenal vs Manchester United (Friday 2nd March 6.45am AEDT)
Another massive Week 28 matchup in store for us here as Arsenal host Manchester City. However, we’ll have to wait until Friday the 2nd of March for the matchup as the two teams will face off in the final of the English League Cup this Monday morning at Wembley.
Obviously, a lot will depend on how the teams fair in their first meeting this weekend, but the way the form has played out over the past few months, Manchester City look incredibly tough to beat here, even at Emirates Stadium.
Manchester were dominant in their mid week clash against FC Basel in the Champions League last week, winning 4-0 to make them hot favourites heading into their home leg in a few weeks. Can’t see Manchester City dropping this one.
TIP: Manchester City to win - $1.91 at Sportsbet
