We have posted some successful PGA betting tips so far this year on Before You Bet and hope to keep that going into the coming weeks.
This time the 2015 PGA tour heads into Ohio for the Memorial tournament.
Muirfield Village golf course will play as host to some of the world’s best players including the return of Tiger Woods. With the US Open just around the corner other big names such as Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth and Justin Rose will all be looking for some good form and Muirfield will provide a stern test.
There are a few stats we are looking at this week in order for success at Muirfield. Driving accuracy over driving distance is one of them. The last five winners include Hideki Matsuyama, Matt Kuchar, Tiger Woods, Steve Stricker and Justin Rose. None of them are known for explosiveness off the tee but the week they won in Ohio they were all accurate off the tee. Another stat all the winners had in common were greens-in-regulation.
Last year’s runner Kevin Na looks like the value pick. He has five top 10’s in his last 8 starts and 6 all up. He lost in a playoff here last year and he will be very hungry to go one better.
- BET ON: Kevin Na - $44 at Betfair
We also like the look of Graham Delaet and Charl Schwartzel at these odds and will be having a small play on them as well. Just remember to be prepared to lay off at Betfair if these guys have a strong start.
- BET ON: Graham Delaet - $110 at Betfair
- BET ON: Charl Schwartzel- $140 at Betfair
