It's been a very interesting first couple of weeks of the 2015 NFL season. There have been some surprising victories and lots of new information to take into account going into future weeks - including for our NFL Week 3 betting tips and preview.

Washington Redskins at New York Giants – Friday 10:25am AEST
Usually this game would be a layup. The Giants are 4-0 versus the Redskins since 2013 plus the Redskins have lost 12 of their last 14 NFC East games. However there are strange things happening in the NFC East and this is Thursday Night Football where anything can and will happen.
As I mentioned the NFC East is already starting to look like a strange division. It is led by the 2-0 Cowboys but with their star quarterback Tony Romo going down (broken collarbone) the East is now wide open. The Eagles look very very average and the Giants have been just plain stupid. The Redskins who sit at 1-1 will feel like they have a real opportunity and that thought alone may just be enough to get the win on Thursday night. It has also been reported that the Redskins strength of schedule is much easier than the other NFC East teams.
This game should come down to a field goal. The Redskins defense will be the main draw card for me. The Redskins quarterback Kurt Cousins is nothing special but he does have the ability to manage a game and he will be full of confidence as he went 23 of 27 with a completion percentage of 85.2.

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals – Monday 6:05am AEST
It already feels like the stars are aligning for the Arizona Cardinals. They are off to a flyer this season. After starting 2-0 they will now face a depleted 49ers team and next week an average Rams team. They are in a great position to take control of the NFC West especially with the shock start to the Seahawks season (0-2).
This Cardinals unit is deep and dangerous. Carson Palmer is healthy and looks damaging and has a passer rating of 124.4 ranks 3rd in the NFL. The Cardinals have disposed of the Saints 31-19 and the Bears 48-23 and unfortunately for Jarryd Hayne I believe this game will have a similar ending.
The line for this game opened at -6/-6.5 (Cardinals) and I believe it will move another half point to the magic number of a single touchdown. I have this game at 37-21 in favour of the birds.
Tip: Arizona Cardinals at the line (-6.5) - $1.96 at Sportsbet
Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions – Monday 10:30am AEST
Something has happened in Denver. Superstar quarterback Peyton Manning is no longer the star of the show. The Broncos defense now is. Their front seven lead by DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller are nasty and they have very talented corners.
Bronco’s cornerback Aqib Talib will go head to head with Megatron (Calvin Johnson).Talib is a picking machine and as good as Johnson is I believe the Broncos defense will account for Johnson and the Lions.
Manning has been sacked 7 times in two games and alarm bells might be going off with the O-Line of Denver. This week they should have an easier time protecting Manning as they faced Justin Houston last week who accounted for 3 of those 7 sacks and the Lions have no one in Houston’s league.
Tip: Denver Broncos at the line (-3.0) - $1.87 at Sportsbet
Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers – Tuesday 10:30am AEST
If Super bowl 50 was this week it would be Green Bay Packers versus New England Patriots and it would be awesome to watch. However we are in week 3 and a lot can happen in a football season.
Aaron Rogers is the best quarterback on the planet right now and he has enough weapons around him to win a super bowl, but can they stay healthy.
What happened to Kansas City last week? They turned the ball over a record number five times under Coach Andy Reid, yet they still had a chance to win. Don’t let that result fool you this is a good football team and they will move the chains against Green Bay on Monday night. Do I think they can win? Probably not but it is Monday night football and I think they can stay within a touchdown of the Packers. The Packers stocks are sky high at the moment, meanwhile the Chiefs are a bargain at +7.0.
Tip: KC Chiefs at the line (+7.0) - $1.88 at CrownBet
