Draftstars Salary Cap: $100,000
Front Row Forward
Aaron Woods ($10,400) New South Wales
Woods has a lot of ticker and will play big minutes for the Blues. He is starting the match and will have an extra stint in the second half, if New South Wales find themselves behind on the scoreboard Woods will be looking to push the offload and rack up the points.
Jacob Lillyman ($7,500) Queensland
Lillyman has been brought into the squad after Nate Myles was ruled out through injury and the Warriors forward will have a point to prove after being left out of Game 1.
Second Row Forward
Josh Jackson ($10,250) New South Wales
The Bulldogs back rower played 80-minutes in Origin 1 and is a workhorse. He will make a lot of tackles and earn a lot of points due to his big minutes.
Paul Gallen ($12,800) New South Wales
The Blues captain is playing his last series for his State and with his side trailing 1-0 already, he won’t leave anything out on the field and will be massive in this one.
Wing/Fullback
Darius Boyd ($7,150) Queensland
Boyd was solid in his first game for Queensland at fullback and whilst there wasn’t many attacking opportunities, it should be different on the dryer pitch at Suncorp stadium.
Matt Moylan ($7,750) New South Wales
Whilst Moylan made a couple of errors in Game 1, he will be better for having the experience under his belt. If the Blues are to score points it will be on the back of Moylan’s creativity.
Centre
Greg Inglis ($9,350) Queensland
Inglis is a must have in your Draftstars team, he was kept relatively quiet in the opening game with Josh Morris defending him but he will be up against Dylan Walker. Inglis is the leading try scorer in Origin history and will lift his game in front of his home crowd. We are expecting Inglis to have a huge game and get the better of the inexperienced Walker.
Justin O’Neill ($6,650) Queensland
O’Neill grabbed a try assist in his Origin debut as he made the final pass for Dane Gagaii. It was a defensive game but there should be more opportunities in Game 2 and O’Neill’s combination with Thurston could pay dividends.
Hooker
Cameron Smith ($13,850) Queensland
The Melbourne Storm, Queensland and Australian captain will continue to lead from the front with his massive workload and great ability at steering his team around the park. He is guaranteed to put up a big Fantasy score.
Half
Johnathan Thurston ($12,000) Queensland
Thurston plays at five-eighth at Origin level, which gives him more ability at picking up a try assist by making the final pass to his centres and wingers. He will earn more fantasy points then he did in game 1 as there will be more points scored in the contest.
