Rosehill Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 27th 2023
Race 3: Paulele @ Darley BM72 2400m at 3.10pm AEST
(1) NORDIC PRIDE ($3.50) – 7YO gelding who is in terrific form and only just missed out on the trifecta last start at this track/distance in a tougher grade. He gets down in grade now with a 3kg claim which puts him right in this. The market has been crunched early too, suggesting he should be winning this race now. Draws well and I expect him to be able to sit on the pace with cover before pouncing late to score. Goes well.
(7) ONLY LOVE ($4.40) – 4YO mare who won by almost 3L two back over 2200m and then put in a nice effort last stary over the 2400m. Rises in class now, but gets 2.5kg off the last run and gets a terrific booking of Joao MOREIRA who is in elite form since coming down under. Worth thought here.

Race 7: Precise Air BM72 1200m at 5:30pm AEST
(6) FELIX MAJESTIC ($9.00/$3.00) – 4YO gelding returned nicely first up last start and didn’t finish that far away. Gets out an extra 100m now and should be fitter for the run. Has won over this trip and all wins/placings have occurred on the good track. Expect him to ping the lids and be able to cross early to pinch the leader or just off. He will give the others something to chase and at an each way price im keen to be on here.
*SCRATCHED* (13) GREECE ($7.50/$2.60) – 4YO mare who has been favourite 3 of her last 4 races. Resumed well where she hit the line nicely to fill the minors. Expect improvement out of that race and fitness which puts her in this race for sure. Finally seeing some value with her which has enticed punters to have an each way play second up. Gets 2kg off her back from last outing and draws well. Expect her to be up front with FELIX MAJESTIC and giving the others something to catch.
