Every Major League Baseball team will be in action this Wednesday, the 12th of June in a massive 16 game slate. We take a look at some of the key games of the day and give our best value tips below!
MLB Betting Tips Wednesday 12th June
New York Mets at New York Yankees (3.05am AEST)
The Yankees will host the Mets in a make-up game from the rained out clash on Tuesday early on Wednesday morning. They’ll then face off again from 9.05am to complete the two game mid-week series. Masahiro Tanaka will be on the mound for the Yankees, looking to improve on a 3-5 record after a brief paternity break saw him miss his last start.
The Mets will have ace Zack Wheeler on the mound, who has an impressive 5-3 record with a 4.61 ERA through 13 starts in 2019 so far. The Mets sit 4.5 games behind the division leading Atlanta Braves in the NL West.
The Yankees have won just five of their last ten games, dropping to second in the AL East in the process. We love the value of the Mets here, especially with Wheeler on the mound with the extra day’s break.

Texas Rangers at Boston Red Sox (9.10am AEST)
The Red Sox still sit eight games behind the division leading Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East but have some important divisional series coming up in the next few weeks that could see them fight their way back. They have won five of their last 10 games and will have highly touted prospect Darwinzon Hernandez on the mound Wednesday. Hernandez will come up from Double-A to make his first start in the MLB.
Ariel Jurado was the fifth starter on the Rangers depth chart at the start of the season but has been one of their better starters through 65 games. He has won his last two starts and maintains a fantastic 2.78 ERA on the season so far.
The Red Sox will start as slight favourites here but we are going to lean in favour of the away team. The Sox have lost their last two games on the trot and have a first gamer on the mound against a pitcher that in Jurado that has been impressive this season.
Tip Coming Soon
Los Angeles Dodgers at Los Angeles Angels (12.05pm AEST)
The matchup of the day sees the two LA teams going head to head from 12.05pm. The Dodgers have the best record in the National League at 45-22 and have won seven of their last 10 games. They will have Kenta Maeda on the mound Wednesday, who has a 7-2 record with a respectable 3.48 ERA.
The Angles sit in fourth place in the NL West, a full 13 games behind the division leading Houston Astros. They have won just five of their last 10 games but they will have Felix Pena on the mound, who has a 3-1 record through four starts in 2019.
Hard to bet against the Dodgers here. They have been the standout team of 2019 so far while the Angels have struggled at home, winning just 18 of their 36 games at Angels Stadium. Back the Dodgers at the line.
