The NFL season continues this Monday morning with a 12 game slate for Week 16 of the season. Check out our preview and betting tips for the key games of the morning below.
NFL Week 16 Monday Betting Tips
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks
8.05am (AEDT)
The Vikings are one of the hotter teams in the NFL at the moment, maintaining a 12-2 record and having won their last seven games on the trot. They have covered the spread in their last two, solid victories over the Bears (18pts) and the Falcons (21pts). They are the 8th ranked offence in the league, putting up 26.4 points per game.
The Seahawks are right in the midst of a tight battle for the NFC West, where all four teams are currently separated by just two games. They sit 2nd in the division with an 8-6 record, the same as the division leaders in the Rams. They have won four of their last five games, but are coming off a disappointing 17 point loss to the Packers at home last week.
The Vikings start as three point favourites on the road here and I like them at that line. They have won their last seven games and have covered that three point spread in five of those seven wins. The Seahawks are also battling injury concerns to starting quarterback Geno Smith, and even if he does line-up here, he could be hindered.

San Francisco 49ers at Miami Dolphins
8.25am (AEDT)
Two teams who had big pre-season expectations but have largely failed to live up to those do battle here as the Dolphins host the 49ers. Miami are 6-8 on the season and have battled injuries throughout their 24-25 campaign so far. They have, however, won four of their last six games since the return of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from injury.
The 49ers have also been hindered by injuries to key players throughout the season, particularly star running back Christian McCaffrey, who has played just four games this year. They have lost four of their last five games, most recently going down to the Rams by six points in a low scoring game.
Think the Dolphins are value here as underdogs at home. They are in far better form than the 49ers in recent weeks and should be able to exploit a 49ers offence that has desperately struggled to put up any points in their last five games. Back the Dolphins to win outright.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys
12.20pm (AEDT)
The marquee Sunday Night Football fixture sees the Cowboys hosting the Buccaneers. The Cowboys are another team that has had an extremely disappointing year vs their pre-season expectations, currently maintaining a 6-8 record and sitting in third place in the NFC East. They are out of the hunt when it comes to playoffs, but have managed to salvage some form, winning three of their last four including strong wins over divisional rivals in the Commanders and Giants.
The Buccaneers currently sit atop the NFC South with an 8-6 record, leading the Falcons by just one game. They have won their last four games in a row and have covered the spread in five of their last six. They are the fourth ranked offence in the league, averaging 28.8 points per game.
Love the overs in this game. The Cowboys seem to have found their spark with the ball of late, putting up 27.8 points per game in their last four while the Buccs offence has been firing all season. The over is 4-2 in their last six combined games.
