Australia got their white ball tour of India off to a great start on Sunday night when they defeated India in the first of two T20s. The series continues this Wednesday night (Thursday morning AEDT) and we take a look at the matchup and give our betting tips below!
India vs Australia 2nd T20 Betting Tips
The Australians won the toss and elected to field first on Sunday night. Their bowling attack was fantastic in the first innings, resricting the Indians to just 126 off their 20 overs. Nathan Coulter-Nile was the catalyst of the Aussie bowling attack, claiming 3/26 off his four overs while Jason Behrendorff, Adam Zampa and Pat Cummins also chipped in with a wicket each.
Indian opener KL Rahul was admirable in the Indian innings, posting 50 off just 36 balls to help the Indians reach a defendable target of 126. The Indians looked like defending the small target when they claimed the early wickets of Marcus Stoinis and Aaron Finch to have the Aussies at 2/5. However, a 84 run partnership between D'Arcy Short and Glenn Maxwell got the tourists back into the match.
The Australians found themselves needing 14 runs off the final over of the match to win and it was bowlers Pat Cummins and Jhye Richardson who got the job done, hitting one boundary each in the final over and scoring two off the final ball of the game to lead the Aussies to victory. Cummins continued his fantastic summer that proved to be a thorn in the side of the Indians and should play a big part in the 2nd game on Wednesday night.

Teams
After a great win, Australia will likely go into the second T20 with no changes to the team. Kane Richardson made the squad after a fantastic BBL series and could be the only inclusion should the selectors wish to rest one of the fast bowlers.
The Indian top five looks very unlikely to change, especially with Rahul putting in a good performance in Game 1. Rohit Sharma, Rahul, Virat Kohli, Risbah Pant and MS Dhoni have long been the core of the Indian T20 top order but Shikhar Dhawan could get a look in after the Indians posted just 126.
Tips
It's hard to see the Indian batting line-up failing to the extent that they did in Game 1 again. They start as $1.48 favourites at home in the second match. Aaron Finch continues his woes against the Indian bowling line-up that lasted all of the Australian summer and could find himself on the outer of the Australian World Cup squad if he doesnt perform in the rest of the tour.
Look for the Indians to bounce back here at Bengaluru, where they have won their last two T20 matches, the most recent of which a 75 run thrashing of England in 2017.
