The Indian Premier League (IPL) action is just heating up with another exciting week of action dusted. What’s in store for this weekend’s fixtures? We look ahead to the four interesting games that are lined up.
2018 Indian Premier League Week 3 Betting Tips
Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab (Kolkata Apr 21, 4:00 PM local)
KKR are suddenly looking like the team to beat in this tournament. A team that has some of the biggest T20 hitters like Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, and Andre Russell combined with the cream of domestic talent like Nitish Rana and Dinesh Karthik is bound to be close to the top! They currently have six points from five games.
Kings XI have been a pleasant refresher this season, with Ravichandran Ashwin’s side sticking to their promise of being a team ‘that will surprise’. The presence of exceptional spinners gives them an edge, but they will be tested against the batting might of KKR.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Daredevils (Bengaluru Apr 21, 8:00 PM local)
Nothing changed this season – literally – for RCB who continue to burden their captain Virat Kohli and star batsman AB de Villiers. They need a quick turnaround not just with the bat but also with the ball before time runs out for them. Mind you, the talent to make a difference is still there in abundance in this side!
The Daredevils are looking the early trendsetters to end up with the wooden spoon. This will be an interesting basement battle because both sides have just one win in four games. Gautam Gambhir’s men are showing only glimpses of their potential without being consistent. Unless they change quickly, it could be a long season ahead for the beleaguered Daredevils!

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings (Hyderabad Apr 22, 4:00 PM local)
This is a top-of-the-table clash as both the sides have picked up three wins in their first four games. The Sunrisers, as usual, are impressing with their bowing unit and it could well turn out to be a game of squeeze.
The Super Kings have started with some close encounters where luck favoured them. However, a comprehensive win over the Royal in their last match set the tone for the rest of their tournament and it looks like stuffing the side with experienced T20 professionals is helping them out.
Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians (Jaipur Apr 22, 8:00 PM local)
The fortress has been breached in the previous game by Kolkata Knight Riders but the Royals still are formidable at home. The worry, though, is the fact that their top names are not firing – including Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler. Just two wins in five games is not an ideal return and they will have to improve soon!
Mumbai are no better, with just one win in four. However, that win came in their last league match and there are indications that the side is finally coming together. Can they continue that winning run against the Royals?
