Great week for us last weekend in our AFL spread betting tips as we hit on 3 out of 4 tips all with massive margins. Our tips at Pointsbet have been pretty profitable so far this year and we’ll look to continue the good form as we present our AFL Spread Betting Tips for Round 19 below.
If you’re still unsure of how spread betting works, you can check out our complete guide to spread betting before you create your own Pointsbet account and start winning cash - make sure you understand spread betting 100% before you start though, because things can get very swingy. AFL Round 19 Spread Betting Tips
Our first tip will be a fairly standard one as we take the Sydney game line against Hawthorn on Friday night. Sydney are in dominant form at the moment, having lost just one game since round six. While that loss did come at the hands of the Hawks, they are a vastly improved side this time around. The 16 point line is a bit low in our opinion.
TIP: Sydney -16 vs Hawthorn
Melbourne have been one of the best teams at limiting their opponents fantasy points throughout the year so far. They play North Melbourne this weekend after returning to some decent form over the last few weeks. Jack Ziebell averages just 93 fantasy points on the season, and coming up against Melbourne has us thinking he won’t hit his 94 point line.
TIP: Jack Ziebell UNDER 94 fantasy points
Port Adelaide have had the wood over St Kilda for years now, especially when playing in South Australia. They have won their last five games against the Saints by fair margins and through the last four they have kicked 20, 17, 14 and 19 goals. They are one of the highest scoring teams in the league once again this season and we expect them to surpass the 14 goal mark once again on Saturday.
TIP: Port Adelaide OVER 14 goals vs St Kilda
Gary Ablett missed a week through injury last week so could be coming back in a limited role of even up forward as we saw him play a few weeks ago. His disposals squared line is as 1087 which means he would have to get 33 touches to cover. Not hard by any stretch for Ablett but we think he could spend some time forward and if he goes over it shouldn’t be by much
TIP: Gary Ablett disposals squared UNDER 1087
