Race 1 - TAB Plate 1100m
Very keen on MILANESE GIRL to win on debut here. Won a trial in good style and draws barrier 1 so should get all the favours. Chris Waller said on radio she was one of his better chances of the day so at $3.50 I'm more than happy to back her.

Race 2 - Schweppes Handicap 1550m
Backing Waller to make it a double here with CHASSURE who was a very impressive winner last start as our best bet of the day. He looks like he could be a serious colt. The obvious worry is the rise to 61kg but in the small field he could still be too good. FULL THROTTLE the value.

Race 3 - #TheRaces Handicap 1100m
Interested to see SARAJEVO here having his first start for Kris Lees. His three runs have all been respectable this campaign and despite the 61.5kg he might be able to win.

Race 4 - TAB Highway Handicap 1500m
Happy to have a little bit on dominant Queabeyan maiden winner CLIFF. It was only a very average maiden but he won it by 7 lengths. Previous to that he gave the leaders an impossible start. Dangers look to be ARTISTIC BEAUTY and RINVIATA.

Race 5 - Ranvet Handicap 1200m
GRUNDERZEIT looks tough to beat here after a good win first up. Drops in weight and draws the inside gate and $3.90 doesn't look a bad price. SNOOPY will be somewhere in the finish after a good trial win. He drops significantly in class and should get a good run, while SUSPENSE can bounce back on the firm track.

Race 6 - TAB.com.au Handicap 1250m
Siding with SIR PLUSH to bounce back over Reincarnate here. The firm track is the key - two starts ago at the same weight difference Sir Plush beat Reincarnate by 2 lengths, but the Godolphin horse turned that around last start on the soft track. Back onto a Good 3 today will hopefully see Sir Plus back in the winners circle.

Race 7 - Ashbury Handicap 1550m
RELIGIFY looks up there with the best bets of the day. Just narrowly got nosed out of it last start, but draws the inside gate here and should be at peak fitness third up from a spell. Should just lead and win. $1.95 best price.

Race 8 - McGrath Estate Agent's Handicap 1900m
Two at odds I like each way here. BE LIKE DAD has relished the 1900m at Canterbury his last two starts and if he can find the lead from barrier 11 without doing too much work he could run a big race again at double figure odds.
ROSALEISHA is the other. Ran well over 2000m at Caulfield two starts ago before dropping back to 1550m last start. Back up to 1900m, draws well and can run a good rae at $12.
ASCOT RED and MULTIFACETS the dangers.

Race 9 - Hyland Race Colours Handicap 1100m
ZIN ZAN ELSIE will run a good race here from barrier 5. Only went down by a nose over a similar distance at this track last start. Prepared to forgive INFRA DIG for last start where she covered ground and could only finish 3rd. Her win first up at Gosford was good enough to be competitive here and she gets plenty of weight relief.
