Eagle Farm Racing Tips – Saturday, June 24th 2023
Race 1: Listed Tattersall’s Stakes 2YO – 1400m (11:43 AEST)
(6) Right To Party blitzed her rivals last start at Doomben and can repeat the dose here from gate 1 up to 1400m. She’ll get a dream run on the back of Infancy who is 2nd elect in the market. With luck at the right stage she’ll be very tough to beat.
(5) Infancy comes up as the main danger here as she’ll lead and take advantage of any lack of tempo in the race. 1400m favours the favourite though who shouldn’t be too far away turning into the straight.
(4) Zoukerette actually worked harder than Infancy last time around the outside of the field and beat that filly into 4th place. Should be around the mark again.
(6) Right To Party - Win
$3.20 (1 Unit)
Race 3: Group 3 Tattersall’s Cup – 2400m (12:53 AEST)
(2) Luncies gets the nod for the Tatersall’s Cup after running exceptionally well in the Q22 under WFA conditions. Set weights now so he drops 4kg and meets easier opposition making him the clear on-top selection.
(1) London Banker might run well here given his somewhat surprising 3rd place in the Ipswich Cup last weekend. Just needs to handle the back-up.
(6) The Mediterranean goes in for 3rd here after a 3rd in the Winter Cup at Rosehill. He looks unlikely to trouble the favourite in all honesty, but he should be thereabouts if the opportunities present themselves.
(2) Luncies - Win
$1.90 (3 Units)
Race 7: Group 1 Tatt’s Tiara F&M WFA – 1400m (15:17 AEST)
(13) She’s All Class is over the odds for the feature race on Saturday after she was blocked for a run in the straight in the Dane Ripper and forced to shift off heels into clear air before letting down strongly to run 4th. I have little doubt she’d have finished top 3 with clear running and expect she’ll outperform her odds this weekend.
(5) Chain Of Lightning comes out of the G1 Stradbroke which has produced this race’s last 2 winners in Startantes and Tofane. She’d like a bit of rain around but is a nice e/w price to take the Stradbroke form line if you favour it.
(16) Opal Ridge is too short here. She was phenomenal in the Dane Ripper racing wide all the way, and is drawn much more favourably here. But she is well and truly found in this market which leaves no value on her price. Comrade Rosa won the Dane Ripper and is 4 times the price if you like the form line.
(13) She’s All Class - E/W
$34/$8.50 (1 Unit)
