Another Wednesday means some good midweek racing to get us over the hump. There’s meetings at Warwick Farm and Sandown where we can hopefully find a few winners. Billy Bestford has had a look across the meetings and has found his best bets for the day.

Horse Racing Tips: Wednesday, December 22nd
Warwick Farm Race 1
Been waiting to see the debut of (3) Man In The Mirror who has looked pretty smart at two recent trials. Obviously the Neasham stable is one of the hottest in Sydney at the moment and they just seem to keep churning out winners. Tommy Berry was on board for the most recent trial win and he sticks today from a nice low draw. Think he looks an up and coming youngster and looks a good way to start the day at WF.

Warwick Farm Race 4
Was keen on (4) Rule Of Law first up following a gelding operation and he bolted in following some smart trial form. Looks a completely different horse this prep and he might be finally putting it all together at the new stable. This looks a logical rise in grade and should be able to dictate out on front yet again from barrier 3.
Sandown Race 4
(4) Rising looked the part on debut, winning by more than 5L when finding the lead and kicking away. They’ve only opted to rise to a class 1 here and it looks to have a pretty long tail with just a few key chances. Meech is one of the best front-running jockeys in the land and you’d expect her to use the inside draw to her advantage and repeat the tactics from the debut win.
Warwick Farm Race 6
Pretty keen on (9) Quatenus who was beaten by the wide gate last start. Draws much nicer today Jmac takes over. She’s third up and looks ready to win again as she continues to build a very nice record. She looks ready to rise slightly in trip so the extra 100m should only be a positive. With just the four starts to her name there still looks to be plenty of upside and this looks a very winnable race.
