Moonee Valley Racing Tips: Friday, 17th December
Race 1
Keen to get the money early with (5) Tricology in the first. Was very good on debut when well-supported and was only narrowly beaten by a pretty handy one. Will only need to take natural improvement from that to be winning this. Nolen should be able to keep him out of trouble and with clear air he looks a good way to kick start the night.
Race 5
Forgiving (8) Passing Time fresh when laying in under pressure. Started well in the market there and that was her first loss in three career starts. Barrier 1 today is a huge positive and you’d think they jump straight to the lead and prove hard to catch. With a run under the belt she should be fitter and showed enough in the first prep to make me think she’s worth another chance here.
Race 8
(14) Rights Of Man was a pass mark first up and should take improvement out of that. He’s shown a bit of ability in his career and the rise to 1200m now will be in his favour. Gets Jamie Kah for the first time and if she can find a spot from the wide draw I’m expecting this horse to be too good for these. He’s still untapped and this is a pretty open bm64.
