Moonee Valley Racing Tips: Friday, 12th November
Race 1
(3) True Marvel is just a genuine stayer and he looks like he’s going to eat up all of the 3800 here tonight. He won easily here two back over 3000m and he looked as if he could’ve run another 3000 if he wanted to. Has had a little tick over up in Sydney over 1900m so he’s going to be full of fitness and I think he’s just going to be too strong at the end of this specialist staying trip.
Race 4
Keen to be with (8) Fake Love here who is 3rd up from a spell and looks well placed in this field. There were post race excuses first up and he was much better last start, finishing 3rd to a pretty handy quinella, including Marine One. Drops a few kgs in weight here due to Josh Richards claim and I think that is a massive factor in helping him run well tonight.
Race 7
You’ve always got to take notice of Sadler horses fresh and this one is no different. (8) Sweetzou absolutely flies first up and she bolted in fresh last prep in a very similar race to this. She went on to tackle some much tougher races and held her own so I think she looks well placed down in the weights tonight after the 3kg claim. The recent jumpout was very good and I think if she is anywhere near ready, she’ll be winning.
