Horse Racing Tips: Friday, November 15th
Ballina Race 4 (Market)
(2) Invincore debuted at Ipswich in April of 2018, he sat behind the speed and accelerated well to win his maiden. He was then thrown in the deep end at Listed level at start two, wasn’t beaten far after leading and pulled up lame in both front legs. He was off the scene for almost a year before trialing again, had two trials and then sent back to the paddock. It was almost 80 weeks between runs for him when he resumed at the Gold Coast, was poorly away, had to work three-wide no cover early to get up on the speed and tired late understandably. If he gets away cleanly and with that run and two trials under his belt, he should be up on the speed for a long way. The stable could do with a winner to boost morale!
Ballina Race 5 (Market)
(4) Bugalugs has had two runs back this prep, both of them down the highway at Grafton. When resuming, he sat up outside the leader, stuck on well but was outgunned over the final 100m. He then stepped up to the 1200m last time and led everywhere but the post in a race that looks no easier than this. There is a little speed in the race, especially drawn wider, but he looks to have as much, if not more, tactical speed as the mand should be able to find the front. If he does get the front and gets an easy sectional early, get on again in the run if that’s your thing.
Gundagai Race 7 (Market)
The feature of the day is the time honoured Snake Gully Cup at Gundagai. (1) Don’t Give A Damn is certainly the class runner of the field, he was a real winner early in his career winning 6 of his first 9 starts. He has only won one race since but finds himself back in grade where even with the big weight, looks too good. He led them up in the $1.3M Kosciuszko two starts ago but was outclassed, he then got further back in his home track Goulburn Cup last time, he over-raced, showed a good turn-of-foot but weakened late. This is easier and it could be a real confidence booster for him to get back into form. (6) Perfect Condition is an interesting runner that is having his first Australian start, (9) Lady Mironton was a good winner of the feature at Wagga last time and (10) Loved One maps well and has been good in town at her two starts back from the paddock.

Kyneton Race 4 (Market)
(6) Pueblo has had two runs back this prep, at the Book resuming he was held-up at the turn before runing on into third without ever looking likely. He then went to the mile at Ballarat, was only fair in the run home and was well beaten again. The key today is that he gets back on top of the ground, both of those starts have been on rain affected ground, the latest on a heavy 8. He has placed on a heavy track previously, but want to see him on a good track again, he has only seen it once before. Drawn the inside, he gets a soft run out to the 1850m, if the jockey choses I am sure that he can be behind the leader in the run. This looks easier, you won’t see him again in this tipster’s sheet again if he can’t win this.
