The Fremantle Dockers host the Richmond Tigers at Optus Stadium in Saturday night AFL action. The Dockers come into this one having got their season back on track over the course of the last month, winning 4 in-a-row to climb back to 10th on the ladder. The Tigers got their first win under Andrew McQualter last week with a last minute goal to sink the GWS Giants.

Fremantle vs Richmond
Optus Stadium, Saturday, 7:25pm AEST
With the improved form of the Dockers over the course of the last month, there is certainly a little more intrigue in this Saturday night clash against the Tigers. For the Dockers, Liam Henry returns, while Jaeger O’Meara misses through suspension and Sean Darcy through injury. The Darcy injury early in the clash against Melbourne undoubtedly strengthened the quality of that victory, with Luke Jackson stepping up for his best game so far in his Fremantle career.
The Tigers lose maligned forward Noah Cumberland to injury, and Hugo Ralphsmith makes way for Nick Vlastuin’s return to the best 23. There are a couple of milestones to note in this one, with Liam Baker playing his 100th game, and Daniel Rioli his 150th. The Tigers have been ravaged by injuries to key players this year, and will certainly enjoy Vlastuin’s return to the back six. Jack Riewoldt turned back the clock with a stirring performance last week against the Giants, however the Dockers back six have a lot more answers to the questions posed by the Lynch-less Tigers.
It's hard to fault the football that the Dockers have put together over the course of the past month. Their midfield looks dynamic with Jackson as the primary ruck, and Andrew Brayshaw and Caleb Serong leading the charge, and the cohesive nature of their tall forwards in Jye Amiss and Josh Treacy has them playing with poise beyond their years at the moment. With the momentum of the last month and the crowd at their back, the Dockers should be too strong for McQualter’s Tigers.

Shai Bolton 25+ Disposals – Bolton should enjoy the expanses of Optus Stadium, and is spending plenty of time on-ball.
Jye Amiss 2+ Goals – Anticipating a strong showing from Amiss. Even with Balta as a potential opponent here, I like the ball movement of the Dockers to allow Amiss opportunities here.
Josh Treacy 1+ Goals – Same as above, however just the one goal for Treacy given his role compared to Amiss.
Same Game Multi Odds: $5.75
