2021 AFL Round 12 Fremantle vs Western Bulldogs Tips
Optus Stadium, Sunday 6th June 6:40pm (AEST)
Both the Dockers and the Bulldogs were jumped by their respective opponents in Round 11 and will be looking to impose themselves early in this intriguing Sunday night fixture. The Bulldogs will start as the favourites, but the Dockers are undefeated in home games this season.
Match Prediction
Fremantle were jumped by Port Adelaide in the first quarter of their Round 11 fixture where they fell behind by 40 points due to some inaccurate kicking. The Dockers were able to bounce back and get momentum going their way, but their poor kicking in front of goal plagued them throughout the game and cost them a chance of winning in the end. They’ve now lost four of their past five games and their finals chanced are beginning to slip away as a result.
The Dockers have a couple of guys sidelined with injury at the moment, which is the case for most teams in the league. Sam Switkowski is out of the team through injury this week after hurting his hamstring against the Power, but coming into the side is Matt Taberner who will provide a big boost to their forward stocks.
Western Bulldogs played their part in a top-of-the-table clash against Melbourne last weekend, but weren’t up to the task as they finished up 28-point losers. It was a disappointing performance from the outset by the Bulldogs, but that was just their second loss of the season and they remain firmly entrenched in the top four.
Injuries to key players continue to mount for the Bulldogs, with Adam Treloar, Josh Dunkley and Easton Wood headlining the outs, all of which are expected to miss at least the next three games. The Bulldogs have made four changes to the team that lost in Round 11, with Stef Martin being the biggest name coming into the side.
Neither team would be happy with how they played last weekend, but both teams get a chance to atone prior to taking their scheduled byes in the next week or two. The good news for the Dockers is they return to their home ground at Optus Stadium where they’ve won all but one game they’ve played there this season. Providing they continue to play at a high level on their home deck, we have them giving the Bulldogs a good run for their money to close out the round.

Same Game Multi
This is one of the better games on this weekend if you’re looking to build yourself a good Same Game Multi, which we have done here with three good looking legs. For the first leg we are taking Michael Walters to jag himself a goal, which he has done so in all but one game this season. Secondly, we’re keen to include Caleb Serong to collect at least 15 disposals to make it 12/12 on the year. Finally, for our value leg of our multi we are taking Luke Ryan to tally at least 20 disposals. Ryan is averaging 21 on the year and has recorded 20+ in 5/8 games and will be playing in a game style that should favour him.
