Another Wednesday in the MLB, another fantastic 15 game slate to look forward to! We continue our Major League Baseball betting tips today as we take a look at some of the best value games this Wednesday, the 26th of June!
MLB Betting Tips Wednesday 26th June
San Diego Padres at Baltimore Orioles (9.05am AEST)
The Baltimore Orioles currently have the worst record in all of baseball at just 22-56 and will kick off a two games home stand against the Padres this Wednesday. Jimmy Yacabonis will be on the mound as an opener for left-hander Josh Rogers. Yacabonis threw two scoreless innings in his last start before coming out.
The Padres will have rookie Logan Allen on the mound for his second start in the MLB. He was lights out in his first start last week, pitching seven scoreless innings with five strikeouts as the Padres defeat the Brewers.
Tough to like what the Orioles are doing at the moment, they have won just 1 of their last 10 games and suffered a massive 13-3 loss to the Mariners in their last game. With a lights out Logan Allen on the mound, we think the Padres get a comfortable win here.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Houston Astros (10.10am AEST)
The Astros looked an unstoppable force in the American League earlier in the season but have faltered a touch over the past few weeks. They have won just three of their last 10 games and have a tricky three game home stand against the Pirates coming up. Gerrit Cole will be on the mound for the Astros, going up against his old team in the Pirates. The righty has a 6-5 record with a 3.54 ERA.
The Pirates have a 36-40 record and have won six of their last 10 games. They sit at the bottom of the National League Central division but are just 5.5 games behind the division leading Cubs. Trevor Williams will be on the mound for the Pirates on Wednesday and will be looking to improve on a 2-1 record through 10 starts this season.
The Astros will be happy to be back at home after a tough road trip to Cincinnati and New York in which they went just 1-6 through seven games. The Astros have been in horror form of late and the Pirates are great value with the 1.5 run handicap.
Cincinnati Reds at Los Angeles Angels (12.05am AEST)
Both the Reds and Angels come into Wednesday’s game with some inconsistent form. The Angels have won just five of their last 10 games and have a 39-40 record. They sit fourth in the American League West division, a full 10 games behind the Houston Astros. Andrew Heaney will be on the mound for the Angels and will be looking to improve on his 0-1 record through five starts this season.
The Reds have lost their last two games on the spin and will be looking to climb up the standings in the tight NL Central race with a win on Wednesday. They sit just 5.5 games behind the division leading Cubs with a 36-40 record and will have Tyler Mahle on the mound on Wednesday. Mahle has made 14 starts this season and has just a 2-7 record.
Two very evenly matched teams here with two out of form pitchers on the mound makes this a tough game to call. We are going to give the home side the slight advantage here given the Reds 17-23 record on the road this year.
