West Ham vs Chelsea (Sunday 1am AEST)
The Hammers were able to upset the Palace on the road last week as their away record continued to improve. They have only one victory from four matches at home whilst they are undefeated from five matches on the road including scalps against Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. This impressive start to the season sees them sitting in fourth position on the ladder and six points clear of their opponents this weekend Chelsea who are struggling but got back to winning ways last weekend against Aston Villa.
Chelsea is still relatively short favourites but with their inconsistencies this season and struggles I am leading towards a draw, especially after having a midweek Champions League match.

Arsenal vs Everton (Sunday 3.30am AEST)
The Gunners are on a three game winning streak and they have won those matches by three goals including keeping a clean sheet in two of them. It took them a while to get going against Watford last week but once they found the back of the net it was business as usual as they were able to cut Watford’s defence to pieces with their brilliant passing game. They will be full of confidence after pulling off a very impressive victory against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Meanwhile Everton will be disappointed in their performances lately as they have lost their attacking flair whilst their defence has been lacking. They fell behind early to the Red Devils and weren’t able to really threaten a team that’s defence has been shaky throughout the season. The Gunners will continue their dominance and pick up another comfortable victory.

Sunderland vs Newcastle United (Sunday 11pm AEST)
The North East Derby has these two sides entering the match desperate to kick start their seasons. Sunderland are currently sitting on the bottom of the ladder and are the only side in the premier league without a win, however they have managed to secure a draw in their last two matches.
Newcastle United picked up their first win of the season last week at home against Norwich City and it was an impressive one as they were able to put six goals past the budgies. This could be the turning point of the season and they have the capabilities to go on a run. If they can continue their attack from last week then they will pick up the win in what will be a fiery contest.

Manchester United vs Manchester City (Monday 1.05am AEST)
The match of the round will see arguably the two biggest rivals in the competition go at it as the fight for bragging rights. Manchester City are currently on the top of the ladder and lead Manchester United and Arsenal by two points as they have been the most impressive side throughout the first quarter of competition. They will be without Sergio Aguero, which is a massive blow for them but they were able to find goal scorers in Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Bony.
The Red Devils were able to overcome their hiccup against Arsenal and pick up an impressive 3-0 victory against Everton last week where their defence was strong and they found the back of the net with the quality chances they created. They are favourites in this match but the Sky Blues will lift for the contest and come away with a very narrow victory.

Liverpool vs Southampton (Monday 3.15am AEST)
The Jurgen Klopp era started last week at Liverpool and a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane is definitely a pass mark considering the performances of the Reds in previous weeks and the form Tottenham had been in.
It will take time for Klopp to be able to administer his plans to the Liverpool side and it still remains to be seen whether the squad he has available to him is of high enough standard to play his up-tempo pressure football that he utilised at German side Dortmund.
Southampton have overcome their early season worries and now find themselves in the top half of the ladder. They have picked up an impressive victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but it will be a tough ask for them to repeat that performance at Anfield. We are sticking with these two sides to play out a draw.
