Wyong Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 12th 2025
Race 5: Apg Medallion Recipients BM68 – 1600m – 4:05pm (AEDT)
(3) Oakfield prince $9.50/$2.40: Freshened who hasn’t been all that disgraced in most runs this campaign. Gets another nice race and Bullock remains in the saddle. Draws well and looks a nice value chance.
(5) Irish Bliss $3.50: 4YO who SP’d at $1.50 last start and was only 1.6L off them, but disappointing for punters at the price. He is capable of much better and we see a better price today. Forgive.
(7) Kenmare Bay $2.45: The favourite of the race who has been pretty tidy and resumed nicely finishing second in a Class 1. Rises in trip which suits and is proven over the mile. Draws a handy gate and will be fitter second up. The one to beat.
(7) Kenmare Bay
$2.45 (3.5 Units)
Race 6: Central Coast Golf Course BM64 - 1350m - 4:40pm (AEDT)
(2) Prince Of Sorts $3.50: 3YO Gelding who has a handy enough record and tends to feature regularly. Only disappointing run was last start, but can atone here especially with a 2kg claim. Draws well and must be considered.
(4) Invasive Dreams $3.40: The favourite who notched up back-to-back wins before taking on open class and she was far from disgraced finishing behind some handy types. Drops right back now and loves the soft track. Looks to be the bet of the day for me. Hard to beat here.
(7) Bend The Knee $8.00/$2.40: 6YO gelding who is well tried and can run a race on his day. Goes well third up and wasn’t far away on his one attempt over 1350m. Draws well and gets a nice 1.5kg claim. Capable of a nice race. (Dual Acceptor in Race 8)
(4) Invasive Dreams
$3.40 (3.5 Units)
Race 8: Nsw Pgc BM64 - 1200m – 5:50pm (AEDT)
(1) Imasuperstar $10.00/$2.80: 5YO Gelding who was narrowly beaten first up when lugging top weight, but then buttered up with a nice win in open grade. Most recently finished 6th of 12 again in open class, but hit the line nicely. Back in grade now and with the 3kg claim and good barrier I don’t see why he cannot win this. Over the odds?
(2) Colophon $2.40: 3YO gelding who was narrowly beaten first up. Fitter now and goes well over this trip. Only concern is the wide draw which may keep him wide throughout. Won’t be far away, but will need luck.
(5) Ramones $6.50/$2.10: 5YO Gelding who worked home nicely last start in tougher company. Back to provincial level now and has a handy record over 1200m. Jeff Penza steers which boosts confidence and proven on the soft track. Each way.
(1) Imasuperstar E/W
$10/$2.80 (1U/2U)
