Another Wednesday means some strong midweek racing to get us through the week. There’s meetings at Sandown and a wet Canterbury where we can hopefully find a few winners.
Billy Bestford has had a look across the meetings and has found his best bets for the day.
Today's Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 30th
Canterbury Race 2
(6) The Art Of Flying looks extremely hard to beat off the back of a first up 3rd to Overpass in the Inglis Sprint. Back to midweek maiden grade clearly he is the horse to beat. Have to trust the stable have bringing him to sydney and running him on this bottomless track.

Sandown Race 3
(5) Suricate was beaten less than a length in a stronger race in Adelaide last start. 3rd up now rising to 1400m for the first time I think she looks well suited. The horse that beat her that day Mac n Cheese has since won again. Jamie Kah jumps on and with even luck she is hard to beat.
Sandown Race 4
(8) My Whisper looks a promising horse and was dominant when winning in 64 grade last start. That was straight off the back of a good maiden win and clearly she is on the up. Jamie Kah sticks for the ride here today and see no issue with this horse rising to 1600m now.
Sandown Race 5
(3) Detonator Jack was ultra impressive on debut, missing the kick and then rounding the field up easily for a big 3L win. That was a dominant display and he only got better the further they went. Out to 1600 now is suitable and barrier 8 gives him plenty of room to wind up.
