Sha Tin Racing Tips: Sunday May 7th
Race 2
(13) Heavenly Thought was enormous last start closing strongly from the back of the field. The team have kept him at the same trip and he’s drawn far more favourably here. Hard to beat.
(9) Beauty Nova is a strong chance even though he’s drawn quite poorly. He’s shown improvement in his last few starts and Zac Purton should get the best out of him here.
(1) Master Of Luck has his 2nd run in class 5 here after dropping out of class 4. He’s one to watch and should be capable of a win in this class at some stage.

Race 4
(7) Nicholson Returns is in stellar form. He struggled with unfavourable conditions his last 2 races but has Zac Purton aboard here getting up to the 2000m which looks a natural progression for the horse. Expect him to win or go close.
(6) Serangoon was solid enough on local debut finishing 2L off the winner over 1600m. 2000m is a big step up but the horse is expected to get over these trips. May be one run too soon but he should go well.
(3) Above is a veteran over this trip and should run well.
(7) Nicholson Returns win

Race 9
(8) Straight Arron should find this race a breeze down on 52kg after winning effortlessly last time over 1800m. He’ll eat up 2400m and looks very hard to beat.
(10) Five G Patch is nothing if not consistent. This is a tough race for him up significantly in grade but the light weight should help along with the good barrier draw.
(5) Running Glory is also consistent and will benefit here from the services of Zac Purton.
(8) Straight Arron win
