A bumper nine-race card to focus our horse racing tips at Rosehill this Saturday, September 24th which consists of six blacktype races, including a triple-header of Group 2 racing.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and with no rain predicted we should see it remain that way, or possibly even upgrade to a Good 3. The rail is out 5m for the entire circuit.
We've got betting tips for every race on the card, with previews of the three Group 2's!
Race 1 - Four Carat E/W
Race 2 - Junoob
Race 3 - Shotgun Roulette
Race 4 - Invincibella
Race 5 - see below for preview
Race 6 - High Mist
Race 7 - see below for preview
Race 8 - see below for preview
Race 9 - Invinzabeel
Race 5 - Stan Fox Stakes 1500m - Group 2
Looks a clear race in two between Impending and Divine Prophet.
Impending finished 3rd in the Golden Rose behind stablemate Astern and gets the blinkers on for the first time today. If he gets first run on Divine Prophet he may be able to hold a break.
Divine Prophet was the clear eye-catcher in the Golden Rose and finished 4th, just behind Impending. The step up to 1500m really helps his cause here and if he is within striking distance at the top of the straight he could win this convincingly. Think he's the bet of the day at $2.60.
Selection: Divine Prophet
Race 7 - R.M House Westmead Golden Pendant 1400m - Group 2
Competitive race for the fillies and mares with about 5 of the 10 engaged with good winning chances.
First Seal resumes on the back of a promising trial and she resumed last prep with a good win in the Group 3 Millie Fox. She has a great record at this trip and first up so she is more than capable of returning with a win here.
Tycoon Tara put two wins together to start her campaign before finishing 4th against the boys last start, beaten only a length. She can bounce back here against her own sex from the good draw.
Heavens Above flew home late last start over 1200m here to win at Group 3 level. The step up to 1400m only helps her here and the good draw gives her every hope of winning again.
Denmagic ran on strongly from the back of the field behind Heavens Above when finishig 4th by half a length first up and with natural improvement she can give this a shake, while Dixie Blossoms looked to have plenty to offer when she couldn't get out at any stage in the same race.
Selection: Heavens Above
Race 8 - Shannon Stakes 1500m - Group 2
Another small field with what looks to be 3 main chances to my eye.
Hi World was unlucky last start when finishing 3rd over 1400m at Flemington, where he copped a bit of contact in the straight before running on strongly behind Bon Aurum. That form looks good and if he can be as effective on the firmer track he will certainly give this a good shake.
Moral Victory ran down Caped Crusader last start at big odds over 1200m here, and steps up to the 1500m where he has won previously. Drops from 57kg to 53kg and could win again.
Caped Crusader was first up when run down by Moral Victory, and could improve second up here. Drops from 59.5kg to 53kg so gets a 2.5kg weight swing on Moral Victory, and $6 looks a good price in a small field.
Selection: Caped Crusader E/W

Best Bet: Race 5 - Divine Prophet
Looks one of two main chances in a small field and his last 300m in the Golden Rose was highly impressive. If he's close enough to strike he looks a great chance of winning this at $2.60.
Best Value: Race 1 - Four Carat
Ran a big race first up when just beaten by Antonio Guiseppe. Has won 2 from 4 when 2nd up and the firmer track only increases his chances. Looks slightly over the odds at 9/1.
