There's four race meetings in Australia on Tuesday, with Victorian racing taking place at Hamilton, and Newcastle hosting New South Wales' main meeting.

Horse Racing Tips: Tuesday, May 26th
Newcastle Race 1 - (Market)
(1) All Things had been very consistent through his first four starts before finally breaking through for his maiden win last time here at the track. He was beaten as favourite at Scone when resuming and did seem to have every chance before coming here 17 days ago. He was third in the run but a good 10 lengths off the leader and was forced to chase hard after the horse in front was off and gone early. He was still 7 lengths back as they entered the straight, he ran on hard with the best last 200m of the race to score. It was a good effort considering all the chasing he was forced to do, he should get the cold sit behind the leader in the small field and this looks a suitable task to take that tough step out of maiden grade.
Newcastle Race 2 - (Market)
(1) Faretti resumed as a gelding last time out for the Gai/Bott team resuming off a 6-month break. It was in a harder race than this at Warwick Farm on a good track, he was awkwardly away but was able to kick through and hold the fence. There was pressure throughout form the horse on the outside and although he railed through to lead into the straight, was gone inside the furlong. Second-up last campaign he was thrown in at Listed level in town, he settled handy and stuck with some very good ones until fading late. From the good draw and back in this grade, he looks a good thing, especially if able to punch through and lead early.
Hamilton Race 2 - (Market)
(10) Soleil De Lune was solid in the market when making his debut at Cranbourne in mid-April, after settling handy he chased hard but had every chance in a race that was favoured for those up in the speed. He then went to Donald in an easier maiden and stepped out to today’s trip of the mile for the first time, again he had a good run in transit and chased hard into second without ever looking the winner. He should be fully fit today, second time at the mile and should be handling the sting out of the track at his first crack.

Hamilton Race 5 - (Market)
(3) Rome is a former Snowden runner that was unable to win at four starts with that yard in NSW, he was sent to the paddock and sent to the Bool to be trained by Aaron Purcell. His fist run for the stable was at Hamilton on a wet track, he was slowly away and settled worse than mid-field. He was eased to the middle of the track and after giving them a start, reveled in the going and ran on hard to get up in the last few strides. A couple of queries with the inside draw, will that part of the track be off and stepping out of maiden grade. The way he finished off fresh on the Soft7, he looks like he only needs even luck to be winning again.
