NBA action continues on Tuesday with a small three game slate. We’ve thoroughly examined the three matchups set to play out and have come up with our best play for each of them right here. Check them out below and good luck to everyone following!
NBA Betting Tips Tuesday March 10th
Charlotte Hornets @ Atlanta Hawks
10:40am AEDT
The Hornets come into this off a big win against the Rockets in Charlotte. They were the better team for the game’s entirety to record their fifth win from their past 10 games. It’s been one of the best stretches for the season for the 22-41 Hornets who now find themselves in 10th spot in the weaker Eastern Conference.
The Hawks were demolished by the Grizzlies for the second time in five days, losing both games by a combined 56 points. The Hawks are now on a three game losing streak and are locks to be picking from the lottery again this season. It’s been another really tough campaign for Hawks fans that have to be very patient while their team develops.
The Hornets clearly bring the better form of the two clubs into this matchup, although the home court advantage for the Hawks does level things out a touch. That said, we’re happy to take the 4.5 point start available for the Hornets here in a genuine 50/50 matchup.
Charlotte Hornets +4.5

Milwaukee Bucks @ Denver Nuggets
12:10pm AEDT
The Bucks come into this off one of their worst losses of the season when they went down to the Suns in a wire to wire loss in Phoenix. The Greek Freak was sitting out for the game however, so it’s hard to take much from that matchup. Despite the loss, the Bucks come into this with the best record in the league at 51-11, but now have the Lakers breathing own their neck at 49-13.
The Nuggets have done as well as we all probably thought they would, amassing a decent record (41-21) while flying completely under the radar. They aren’t expected to challenge the best teams in the business end of the season, but certainly have one of the best young rosters in the league. Last time out they were two point losers to the Cavs on the road, which was a pretty disappointing result.
This is an interesting little matchup we have in a small slate, which is sure to draw in a big audience. The Bucks are definitely the better of the two teams, although they face a really tough task in playing the second leg of road a back to back at altitude in Denver. Rarely to teams win under these circumstances and we expect the Nuggets to be able to negotiate the win as a result.
Toronto Raptors @ Utah Jazz
12:10pm AEDT
The Raptors were able to negotiate the win in Sacramento on Monday against a really tricky Kings unit. The Raptors were able to find 30 points nights from both Kyle Lowry and Normal Powell, which was eventually the difference in the contest. That win took their season record to an impressive 45-18, which has them in second spot in the East behind the Bucks.
The Jazz have returned to form after a tricky week or so that saw them lose four straight games, all of which were on their home floor. They have gone on to answer with four straight wins, all on the road, which is pretty bizarre in the sport of basketball. This current run has seen the Jazz climb back into fourth spot in the West and only two games back from the second placed Clippers.
Both of these clubs have recently come out of losing streaks to win a couple of important games on the spin. For us, the Jazz have been a little more impressive in doing so and will be desperate to continue to tick over the win column in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. We expect them to get the better of the Raptors here in a close one.
