Jus the six game slate in the NBA this Tuesday, the 3rd of December, but still plenty to look forward to including a massive clash between the Philadelphia 7ers and Utah Jazz from 12pm!
As usual, we have a full preview and betting picks for some of the key matchups of the day below!
NBA Betting Tips Tuesday December 3rd
Utah Jazz at Philadelphia 76ers (11am AEDT)
The 76ers currently sit 5th in the Eastern Conference with a 14-6 record through the opening few months of the season. They captured a good win over the Pacers in their last game as star centre Joel Embiid went off for 32 points and 11 rebounds in the win. The 76ers are 9-0 straight up at home this season, but have covered in just four of those wins.
The Jazz sit in a similar position in their conference, currently maintaining a 12-8 record. They too are a strong home team, having won eight of their nine games at Vivint Smart Home Arena but they are just 4-7 on the road this season and will be on the second night of a road back to back in Philly.
The 76ers start as six point favourites here, which we are leaning towards given Utah’s struggles on the road. The Jazz were blown out by the Raptors on Monday and while we think they will be more competitive in Philly, we still like the 76ers at the line.
Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks (11.30am AEDT)
The Warriors sit dead last in the Western Conference with a 4-16 record through their opening 20 games. Injuries continue to be the headline story at Golden State, with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and D’Angelo Russel all still on the sidelines.
The Hawks were absolutely decimated in their last game, losing to the Houston Rockets by 47 points as James Harden put up 60. They’ll be looking to bounce back at home, where they are just 2-7 this season.
If you told me this time last year that the Hawks would be 5.5 point favourites over the Warriors in December I would have called you crazy, but the line seems about right given the Warriors issues of late. Tough to call it either way, but we love the over here. The Hawks haven’t really struggled on defence over their current 10 game losing streak, allowing 128.1 points per game in that stretch. After the under hit in their first seven games of the season, the over has hit in 11 of their last 13 games.

Chicago Bulls at Sacramento Kings (2pm AEDT)
The Bulls have lost their last three games in a row and will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings on Tuesday. The Bulls last win was last Sunday, when Zach Lavine put up 49 points including 13 threes against the Hornets on the road. Since then, they have lost to the Warriors and the Blazers twice.
The Kings had some real hype surrounding their roster at the start of the season after making some great progressions last year. They have started the season slow 8-10 record, however, they captured what could have been a momentum-shifting win at home against the Nuggets on Sunday.
The Kings start as five point favourties here, which we like especially after their good win over the Nuggets on Sunday. They have one of the best records against the spread in the entire NBA at 12-6 and have covered in 12 of their last 13 games.
