The NBA boasts a fantastic 9 game slate this Thursday, the 7th of November, with the games getting underway at 11am. We went 3-0 in our last round of NBA betting tips on Tuesday and we’ll be looking to keep the streak alive as we preview some of the key games of the day on Thursday.
NBA Betting Tips Thursday 7th November
Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets (11.30am AEDT)
The Golden State Warriors captured just their second win of the season on Tuesday as they defeated the Trail Blazers at home by 9 points. With their five best players out fo the lineup in Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green D’Angelo Russel and Kevin Looney, the Warriros starting line-up resembled one that you’d find in the G-League.
The Rockets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on the road on Tuesday to move to 4-3 on the season. They have allowed the 2nd most points per game of any team in the NBA so far this season at 123.1. While they have been involved in some high scoring clashes, the over has hit in just three of their seven games.
Starting Warriors forward Eric Paschall went off for 34 points in 40 minutes of game time in the win over the Blazers and he should continue to get plenty of game-time and usage even if Russel comes back into the line-up on Thursday. We'll likely be taking him or one of the other stand-in starters at their point line, but the markets aren't out yet. STAY TUNED.

Philadelphia 76ers at Utah Jazz (1pm AEDT)
Great inter-conference matchup here as the Utah Jazz host the Philadelphia 76ers from 1pm. The 76ers will have big man Joel Embiid back in the line-up after missing the last two games through suspension. They’ll need his offence as they come up against the best defensive big man in the league in Rudy Gobery of the Jazz.
The 76ers went down to the Phoenix Suns at home on Tuesday in the second game of a four game Western Conference road trip, one that they’ll be looking to salvage something from with games against the Jazz and Nuggets on Thursday and Saturday.
Like the look of the 76ers on the road on Thursday. Embiid will be coming into the game fresh after an extended period on the sidelines and the 76ers were 6-1 last season in the first game after Embiid returned from missing games.

Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers (2pm AEDT)
Another great inter-conference matchup here and a potential finals preview between two juggernauts in their respective conferences. The Clippers have started with a 5-2 record and are coming off a good win against the Jazz at home in their last game. Kawhi Leonard had 30 points in that game but they’ll be without the star forward on Thursday due to rest.
The Bucks also have a 5-2 record to start the season and were super impressive against the Timberwolves on the road in their last game. They claimed a 28 point win as reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo exploded for 34 points and 15 rebounds.
Pretty tough game to call here between two strong sides. The absence of Kawhi Leonard has to swing the scales in favour of the Bucks just a touch, but we like the look of Lou Williams point line here. In the only other game Kawhi has missed this season, Sweet Lou put up 17 shots and 24 points, his season high in just 27 minutes. Should be in control of the offence on Thursday and his point line has drifted in marginally due to 12 and 17 point performances in his last two.
