Two teams ranked in the Top 10. This is the game we are most eger to watch. These two teams have a rich history that dates back to1897. Although the most recent meeting was 2003. Georgia have won the last five meetings and also holds a 8-6-2 lead in games played at Memorial Stadium ('Death Valley').
The Aaron Murray and Tajh Boyd Show. We get to see our Heisman Trophy pick in action today. It will be an aerial-assault from both QB'S. Both players threw for over 3,800 yards. Both teams are very evenly matched. Except one area.
The run game. Georgia have a big edge here.
Last year's freshman running backs Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall shined for the Bulldogs. Gurley rushed for 1,385 yards and Marshall had nearly 7 yards per carry. They combined for 25 touchdowns. These numbers will only rise in their sophomore year !
Such an important game for both teams. If georgia want to proove they are the real threat to Alabama they have to win these Big road games. Side note: Georgia's campus is only two hours up the road from Clemson. So there will be support for the Bulldogs and not the longest of road trips.
