Bayern Munich vs Atletico Madrid (Wednesday 4.45am AEDT)
Atletico Madrid was able to continue to surprise people as they earned a victory in the opening leg on their home soil. It was a 1-0 win and they used a clear strategy of having everyone behind the ball and defending whilst the German club was in possession and they would attempt to capitalise on the break and catch Bayern Munich off guard.
For the third straight season, Bayern Munich will head into a home semi-final second leg against a Spanish team trailing and without a crucial away goal. The last two ended in the German side being eliminated from the competition. Munich failed to lock up the Bundesliga title, however the draw they need just one point over their final two games to claim the title.
Throughout this seasons Champions League, Atletico Madrid has conceded just five goals in 11 games which suggests it is going to be incredible difficult for Bayern to level the scores in this semi-final tie. They will likely bring the same strategy that they had in the first game and hope to be able to make the most of their limited opportunities whilst holding their own on the defensive end. Munich will be far more efficient on their home soil but we are backing this match to end in a draw with Atletico Madrid advancing into the Champions League final.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City (Thursday 4.45am AEDT)
These two sides played out a dull 0-0 draw in the opening leg of the semi-final contest as neither side was able to reach their full potential. Manchester City were lucky to escape with a clean sheet as Joe Hart was tremendous between the posts as he made key saves throughout the match. It took them until early in the second half before they created their first opportunity and Sergio Aguero pushed it wide. They will need to get him more involved in this one if they are going to earn a victory and it will be up to Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva to create the chances for the Argentinian striker.
Meanwhile Real Madrid will receive a massive boost with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the line up after he missed the opening leg through injury. They missed his speed and spark in attack and he will constantly cause havoc for the City defence that has been caught out throughout this season. Madrid won by a narrow margin in their La Liga match on the weekend as they still have an opportunity to claim the title but their full focus will be on the Champions League on Thursday morning. Madrid are a dominant side on their home soil and we are backing them to earn a big win in this one as City get eliminated in humiliating style.
